Plus his leadership of the young national side was instrumental. Part of being great is adapting as you get older, he is a different player now but picks his moments realising his physical limitations.

@@daradoesntcare6803 I made some numbers, these videos were for both PES 2010 and 2011 covers, so the shirt with the thinnest stripes is the oldest, the one on the thumbnail. That's the 2009/2010 shirt, and Messi was 22 back in 2009, and 23 the next year. I'm also 2 years younger than him, so it's a bit easier to know this.

What a privilege. IMPORTANT: When you told Messi that "you wouldn't be the best at pro but you could be at freestyle, so you went that way". The guy translating for Messi told him you said you "weren't a pro but you were the best in the world at freestyle for sure". Which is a shame, because you were being humble and the guy made you sound cocky. What a great memory and what a great video. Bless you
