UNSEEN FOOTAGE: SL,UT Crawlers Scale Rig vs HARD C2 Course [2022 NVS Archives-Back from ACL Surgery]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Let's gooo!! I'm back from ACL surgery and STOKED to share this unseen footage from the archives with all of you for the first Friday upload in a few weeks-it feels like a lifetime! Hopefully we're not too rusty... So buckle up and let's watch Tee from SL,UT Crawlers lay down a mighty fine run on one of the toughest courses at the 2022 NVS Utah RC Crawling Championship!
This week, we follow along as Tee navigates through a TOUGH Class 2 qualifier course in his dialed Scale Rig. Will his scale additions slow him down, or will he dominate the course, even though his rig is top heavy and toting some beefy bumpers?? Will his winch end up saving him?? Or will it end up screwing him?? Tune in for the whole run to find out!
Let me know what you think in the comments down below! Have another idea for a video? I’d love to hear what you’ve got, so let me know! And thanks again to Rock Pirates RC for sponsoring High Noon Hobby! Yaaaarg!!

Hahaha I know too many of us that have screwed their bodies up in one way or another, sorry to hear that my friend! But it is definitely a full time job trying to rehab this thing back to tip top shape-hoping I'll be on the rocks again soon, though! 🤘🏼 And thanks for sticking around-I'm excited to get back to the regular uploads!

Get well but take your time with the rehab, that ACL needs to heal properly, no shortcuts. Good rule change, changing a winch to 5 points - way too many winches in this video👍

Much appreciated! Definitely in it for the long haul-my expectations were set well that I will not see any of my favorite sports for at least nine months. Bummed about it, but excited for the rehab journey. And agreed! The winch change was minor, but made a huge improvement in the competition. Cheers 🤘🏼🤙🏼🍻

You got this!! Some courses are harder than others to navigate (for us, of course the trucks too) but I encourage you to try it out. We have competitors of all ages and endurance levels and we always find a ways to ensure everyone has a good time. And I would say you're more open to either of those sizes on a C3 crawler-I personally like 1.9" for my C2 crawlers and 2.2" for my C3, but I try to ensure that the larger wheels are not too heavy-again, that's just my preference, and very dependent on the type of truck you're building! My C3 is now my RC Speedy R2 moonbuggy, which is quite heavy, so I've had to offset that with heavy wheels and axles as well (video on that coming soon). Cheers! 🤘🏼🤙🏼🍻
