After leaving Oman’s capital city, Muscat, I set out on a unique, once-in-a-lifetime adventure: 24 hours living in the desert in Oman! The Wahiba Sands, also known as the A’Sharqiyah Sands, is a desert that covers roughly 10,000 square kilometers (approx. 6,200 sq. miles). We are meeting the people, culture, and most important trying all the delicious Omani food!

I'm not new I'm already subscribed!! Been following you for some time, I've also told you about myself a bit I love in Trinidad now but I grew up in Surinam and much more!!! I can tell.you though Argentina you will love and the rest of SA Uruguay Paraguay etc. etc all the way down to the "tail" ....did you know that the first place human flesh was made a dish is in south America . Though Japan says they are the first, historically it's not Argentina was the first and their history tells the truth of how it came about. You should check it out but I dont think you would eat it. David, so glad you showcased beautiful Oman. It has the most natural beauty and the locals are the best. Most tourists know only Dubai in the ME. I’m sure many will visit his fantastic place I called home for 21 years.

I think men are the best chefs/ Cooks. I use to watch my uncle and my dad cook often and I just loved it.
Definitely a bucket list location for me now, the desert experience looks amazing!!! 😍😍😍😍

I feel the same way I would be so mesmerized if I went to that country and to sample the food I think I even would eat some of the forbidden meat but I'm not sure about that but the country is just beautiful I saw other people we would be so blessed by learning from them
I love the desert so much, especially at night, for calm and riding the hills with a fun car

I'm glad you had a good time around Oman! I know the hardest thing when traveling is not knowing what's okay and what's not in that culture. When you ate the Orsya you kept on sucking your fingers to get what's stuck there, the tradition is only to do that at the end of the meal to not have your saliva get mixed up with the food. Cheers 👍

am from Salalah.... "Land of Frankincense" I saw trees from which the Jebel people take" Luban" I just love to be here in Jebel area.... beautiful sunset and cool nights in Salalah even in Summer days....come and visit Salalah

Wow. I missed this one but I am watching a lot of the previous ones now. This is simply amazing. There are so many questions to ask here but I will decline. What a brave and adventurous thing to do driving through those sand dunes. Hah, see you got a girlfriend in the desert: who would have thought it would happen. And what big lips she has😁😁😁. The food looked so delicious too. The way he cooked the rice; we call it 'pap' without the meat. All in all, what an adventure and the bedouin and the other Omanis are such nice and hospitable people. David, you really were made to do this especially in the way you adapt so well to people, their customs and their surroundings. I am going to continue watching the rest of the series. Kabsa was my favorite food while working in the gulf, Miami gives me a lot of rice 🍛 beans and salsa which is an another savory food. The hospitality they show to you is amazing! God bless you all!
