Terrifying portrayal of addiction! Well done!

I know this was two months ago but this has literally nothing to do with addiction and everything to do with mental health.

@@klxcurtis3925 I see that; eye of the beholder, I guess that I see what I know, art is a mirror.
You guys should be so proud of this! I can tell how much hard work went into the film and it did not disappoint. The color grading was so moody and matched perfectly with the whole vibe. Timing and progression of the plot was awesome. Keep up the amazing work! :)
This was amazing. Also it does expose how often the word "selfish" is thrown around
Such a good film! Can’t wait to see what you guys have next in store. Spoiler- That jump-scare was terrifying though I loved it 10/10 please never do that again.

@@hollyperrin7353 You are being deliberately STUPID. You know damn good and well she meant street drugs, smarten up.
This is a great one.
Moral of the story, find another way to relieve pain because what she is taking is not working well for her.
The film is better than its official description, which is really odd. Pain meds following a broken wrist and then addiction?? You can get addicted to some pain meds (e.g. opiates), but I don't see how such strong drugs would be prescribed after a broken wrist. And even if you were addicted to opiates, what she experiences has nothing to do with that. As others have pointed out, this makes more sense in the context of a mental illness or as a horror element.

Opiates are the first meds that'll be prescribed after getting a broken bone. And it takes no time to get hooked. That was my DOC for 10yrs. I know this. THIS is more of a artistic/cinematic showcase of addiction but nonetheless it's a beast and it happens JUST the way you think it doesn't.

@@jylessa_spiritgem4736Yeah, but did you have your family urging you to just take the pills once you got addicted? Stop being selfish and just take the pills? Not buying it.

I had a broken rib and had no pain killers at all. Still had to work our property and handle 35 lb animal feed sacks. Couldn't wear a bra for 3 months due to pain but never took pain killers. Elderly mother broke her wrist and other than a few Tylenol, she never took anything. Why would this girl need so much just for a broken wrist? And with that padded brace why did she feel so much pain when something knocked it on the bus? It was set, wasn't't it? Didn't seem a typical fracture response......

This is very cool...! I like a lot there is not much "scary" music in it, that makes this short cool and more intense. Great job. Good camerawork, I love it. By the way, Rush hour T-shirts, where did you guys get it? I cannot wait to see your next one. Bravo!
wowzers love the grade and cinematography and the show don't tellness
That was amazing!!!!
So cool!!
I feel like she's been walking for hours to see what's in her house
Constant pain is as bad as a drug: its just another altered perception, this time in the form of fatiguing-irritation; it's detrimental to mental and physical resources of the sufferer; it's forced-ignorance which alters their perception and reactions: if you need pain-meds, take as prescribed. If you want pain-meds, 'wanting', is just as bad as 'pain', just as bad as having the meds in your system, and just as bad as 'withdrawals' when they wear off; everything sucks: nothing's all-right, pain hurts, meds cause disease. Balance.

Balance: like, liking blond hair without dying your own hair blond; balance would be admiration, letting a superficial-aspect nicely compliment your day, just brightening their surroundings: you don't have to feature your preferences to appreciate it, no need for envy, nor any need to verbalize. Balance doesn't need explanation, just acceptance of the feeling's validity. Feeling are all valid, one could be impressed and compliment the virtue of depression's validity, in the fact that everything sucks perceptibly.

This is about mental illness, y’all. Her family wouldn’t want her to take the pills otherwise. She broke her wrist during an episode. ‘They aren’t helping me, their hurting me’, that’s what a lot of schizophrenics say about their meds, cos they dull their senses too much, like u saw at the end. She’s better, she’s calmer, but her face goes blank, like she can’t feel anything anymore. Also, her Mother wouldn’t be crying with worry everyday because she won’t take the pills. That is definitely how family is affected by a loved one’s mental illness, and yes, I’m mentally ill and have to take meds.

@@ileaneunzig1239 You nailed it! Exactly what I was thinking this film was about. Not addiction, this is mental illness. Too much stigma around mental illness. I have depression and anxiety along with chronic pain. Life is so much better with the right medications. ❤
Really well done 👏
Good film. And, needless to say, Madison is an outstanding actress---not to mention pretty as hell. What more can you ask from a film?
