hmm i don`t agree with the first part. many idols (most of them 2nd or 3rd gen idols) come from very very poor families and often had to decide if they want to eat something or starve themselves to safe money. Like Suga of BTS, IU or even G Dragon. They all were very very poor.

We also have Chen Le from NCT, Tzuyu from Twice, Jennie from Blackpink, Nichkhun from 2PM, Sorn from CLC, Suho from EXO, Ten from NCT, Rosé from Blackpink, Mark from GOT7, Umji from Gfriend, Yangyang from NCT, Sungjae from Btob, Sunny from Girls Generation, Lisa from Blackpink and Wendy from Red Velvet all came from rich families. Like coming from a rich family has always been common in music industries.

What logic is that? Celebs who are filthy rich still want influence and fame. Money really can’t buy you relevance (in a cultural sense).

I love that RM could not care less if his songs become smash hits or not. He writes hits for BTS so as a soloist, I really appreciate that he explores with his music and makes whatever he wants, not what the general public wants

@_.-jq1ps they all have potential, I think rm and suga could and most likely will start there own labels as well, jungkook will be like the korean Justin Bieber, every project he releases will be massive, same with jimin. V and Jin have potential to be big time actors in Korea and I think jhope could start his own company as well but I feel like he’d just join rm or sugas label. Either way they’re pretty much the only K-pop group where I think all the members will have extremely successful careers even after the group disbands and maybe blackpink but they rarely release any type of projects so that’s doubtful

The Lose my breath one is so true. They have so much potential, and on their shorts and whatever, you can see how they hate the song and the dance. I saw the one Lee Know did with Han, and let me tell you, bro was not liking it.

#1 : Maybe she tried to be an idol because she just wanted to have her own career, her own path, her own money, etc and her family probably thought that being an Idol as a Samsung Royal family member, was “low value” then the whole Min Heejin and Hybe situation was the last straw and they were like “Nope. You will not mingle with the likes of them” and her family put their foot down and she got cut.

To be honest, I really don’t like any of the US Kpop combos. None of them sound good to me.

I actually really liked “Lose my breath”. 😢 Your criticisms are totally valid and understandable though. If we’re talking about the song in general then I love it. If we’re talking about the song as part of Stray Kids discography then no I don’t like it as, as you said, all the members sort of use their diversity and signature sound. I remember listening to it for the first time like 😮 because I couldn’t recognise most of their voices. They still sound really good though ❤😊

I am ARMY and it is not exactly my taste neither the imaginery, nor the music, nor the color pallete but I understand it is his style. He seems to have this inclination for a raw image, natural and muted colors and a minimalism that easily can fall in the glorification of the nothing because it gives him a motif to explore an idea by his own instead of having to contrast with one proposed and constructed idea. Still his music and style is more a niche one than mainstream and in his own circle he usually is acclaimed.

2. Charlie is really talented, I wish he would do more songs that show off his vocals. He's so talented and skilled, and I definitely agree that it doesn't sound like your usual skz song.

It's so sad that she left the group... Just because she's from a rich family, doesn't mean her music dreams can't be authentic... Being rich doesn't cancel out loving music and wanting to pursue it. None of us know how authentic or inauthentic her love for music is and I feel like she should have been given a chance to prove herself because we would have seen it immediately if she was really in it or if she was faking it... But then again, being a chaebol comes with so much responsibility so I can't speak on this much... But it would be cool if she used her family's money to fund her solo career if she's really into music.

Bang Chan worked on the song and Skz has also different type of songs in their discography.... These days I'm seeing both people blaming them for doing always the same kind of title since God's Menu (they even criticized Svt's new song for sounding like Skz in a negative way) and now people saying that this song isn't like them. I think that they are in a moment that their fans will hype everything they will do and people will be curious thanks to their agency promo and their fans' supports so they are really doing good regardless of their works and it's OK. I would like so see them in another kind of stuff especially for a title track, maybe something like Miroh or My Pace, but Loose my breath can sound like Skz if you know their whole discography. It doesn't sound as Skz just for people who know their titles or the songs they usually perform at music awards. It's not a great song and they aren't as much credibile as other groups in doing pop stuffs, but they are trying it and I think the results will be the ones they want. It has been a smart move at this point of their career and Charlie Puth usually go viral even if he usually do for his own songs and not featurings

5. OH MY GOD, I already looked up to Ni-ki as a fellow dancer but him dancing to one of favorite rappers song especially with the drama going on with K-dot and Drake is chef's kiss! He is always so smooth and intentional with his movements. I'm a few years younger but That's where I want to be skill wise at his age!

Come back to me genuinely is one of my favourite tracks he's ever made. When it started off, I wasn't feeling it, but the moment the chorus came in, I genuinely loved every second. Unrelated but I think GOT7 could've been bigger than BTS or Stray Kids (I can assume because I stan all 3 and I know about them) but JYP chose to focus on TWICE more than GOT7. Each are very special (Bambam won a Thai award show before he was even a teen, Yugyeom was the winner of a kpop dance competition, Mark can do acrobatics, Jinyoung and Youngjae are successful actors, JB is a bboy/producer, Jackson now is the CEO of Team wang and his solo has been successful as well) and not to mention their impeccable chemistry and they're all attractive and talented. GOT7 has 4 english speakers and 4 ethnicities including korean. Like this was a group that was meant to be high. JYP didn't even bother to promote them and treated them like shit. They're unlucky i guess. Now GOT7 has left JYP and has signed under a different label as a whole group

Hyunjin, Seungmin, and I.N outshined and devoured the song (at least for me) and at first I couldn’t decipher who was singing until I looked at a lyric video and idek if it’s accurate😭 idk who did the vocal editing but they shouldn’t have made them all sound alike bc each members voice is DEFINITELY different. #2 I swear I thought I was listening to one of those TXT AI dupes featuring SKZ 😲 and I have heard SKZ's whole discography and this is way off from their normal. It was a bit of a jump scare because even the MV's aesthetics and vibe screamed TXT. But I get why they did this, why they had to do this. This is going to be a test for Stays; sales/streams/votes no matter the product is the final test of a fandom's strength, loyalty, determination, and organizational power. Time is ticking and these 5th gen groups are not playing around; it is only a matter of time before JYPe will do as they always do, follow trends, and want their own 5 gen group too. Where do you think they will get the resources to do that (research the massive artist shedding the company did before 2021 when SKZ truly took off)? It's already happening to Itzy; don't think it can't/won't happen to SKZ too. JYPe has the formula to get things started (loyal label stans and a survivor show beginning). Remember, GOT7 is not an anomaly and it can and will again.

4. It's a very thought provoking song, and I enjoyed even as someone who isn't a bts fan. I loved his artistry and tone. It reminded me of a beetles song kind of. Plus the video was great.

I would say that Rm and all the members, can do the music the want to release without thinking too much in the commercial side of music. They can do great without doing commercial pop music. Unfortunately it's happening a lot with other groups whose music is losing quality because fans will hype everything done in a specific style.

And for the record the high quality MV has nothing to do with lyrics imo, I feel the song repeating itself till the end (instrumentals aside). There's no change. Its deep and meaningful, but only for 1 verse, then its a loop in terms of lyrics.

I absolutely ENJOYED RM’S song, the story in the mv, the lyrics it resonated a lot with me!
