Back on the day, internet did not popular so the toxic articles or videos are not easy to spread around the fandoms. After the internet boom, all the bad comments, articles spread like a wild fire. I remember the heat between SNSD and 2NE1 fandom or SM vs YG fan. Toxic fan is not new.

If you think KPOP is getting worse, you're right, its because of the stans. The fanwars, throwing shade, "my group is better than your group", streaming songs to break records just to "prove haters wrong" without criticism to the company if the song is actually good, these make toxic atmosphere in social medias. Twitter is already toxic place filled with underage fans acting like brats. Ytube is becoming the same. Every time a group has a comeback, there are channels just stirring up controversy in the name of "netizens backlash" and the saintly "no hate, just an opinion" disguise to hate on groups. Clickbait thumbnails, headlines to stir up fanwars in the comment section but they never state the source. They say "KPOP news from Korea" but its from their mom's basement. Your channel is the only one where every point is shared without bias. The others are just clickbait making videos because they can "edit". SICK.

Agreed. Plus even going to a video of a group they claim to hate and just spam Vomit emoji's and others. Or say "Its bought" when a group they don't like is actually doing well. Plus the mental health talk of defending their idols but turn around to wish harm and even death on someone else. Like just recently people were making fun of Winter's Lung surgery posting skeletons. and then when MY's fight back "Oh you're obsessed with us." like they didn't do anything. it's just non-stop.

Almost all the videos that i have seen most of the korean comments are just hateful towards the girls. They are treating min hee jin as if she is a social justice worrier. Its fine if people support mhj or hybe but leave the members out of it.

The way people were coming for Eunchae saying she was Hybe’s spy to crush Aespa was disgusting. Even if they did use her to get to Aespa, that’s on the company and Eunchae wouldn’t have known.

Personally there is no excuse for a singer to be bad at singing as a base line. I get that sometimes there are off days or mistakes but if you actually wanted to be a singer, you'd practice singing, whether your company provides you with training or not. It's like a lot of these idols don't want to be idols because they are kids who have no idea what they actually want to do in life.

@@rabielamrabet1533 I was merely using Lsf as an example for many groups who have this issue, we are agreeing and advocating for the same thing so there is no need to get angry over this. They have had good performances but that is in the past and they've never been vocally exceptional as a whole. Coachella wasn't a mistake, it was us noticing a pattern worsening with time.

My only fear is that "that woman" is trowing shade and dirty to so many groups with decent fandoms than in the moment her "darlings" made a single mistake all the toxic part of those fandoms are going to turn to them in full bloodlust rampage. Lesserafim deserves all the criticism, but not hate. Criticism helps the artist to improve but hate affects their mental health. If only the members themselves took private vocal lessons to improve themselves or if HYBE gave the girls proper vocal training before sending them to perform at Coachella they wouldn’t be getting dragged like this through mud.

But I think the problem here is their reactions to the criticism and the image they have portrayed as if they were at the top of their game when they have shown they are more like close to the bottom vocal wise. People would be more lenient with them if they showed a more humble attitude.

We are really sorry for disappointing you all with our bad performance but we promise to take all your criticism into consideration and improve ourselves and perform much better in our next stage performance. Nonetheless we thank you for your immense support, love and criticism and we are really grateful for the opportunity that we got to perform at Coachella. If only they all said something like this on a live session with their fans after their concert people would have been less harsh and okay with giving them another chance but they didn’t do this. Instead Sakura and Chaewon showed attitude in their own way (iykyk) and rest of the members are living their lives thinking that they just slayed at the Coachella performance.

Chan said one thing and Stays (yes I am a Stay) assumed it was about Ive and started a hate train and fan war started between Dives and Stays. The idol and the fans relationship is a tricky one. Idols are not responsible for the mayhem of the wild side of their fans true but they cant be ignorant either. Theres a thin line and i think what the idols can do are just being general in their statements or comments like they thank their fans for their support, remind them to be kind, not to stir up rumors, putting a foot down if the topic became too personal cause they deserve their space, etc. If the idols are not being proactive in the going ons of their fandom like at all, they'll risk having a toxic fandom and it can deter outsiders to join and be new fans

Le sserafim's hate train is like BP's hate train - when the girls overcome it, they will know that it did only benefited them in terms of popularity and streams. Their vocals are bad which needs to be criticised but everything else is above normal. I think that idols are kinda responsible for their fans's action. Imagine if BTS's and BP's members tell on a live that both are friends or in good terms and the fan war needs to stop, or Stray Kids's members tell their fans to behave themselves, etc. I believe that a big part of a fandom may understand the idol's wish and then a very small part will continue with their stupidity.

The girls weren't given any music, so they stopped to care much about their status although they became very popular. Someone may say that they themselves didn't want to release anything but I don't believe because if it was that way, they would not have left YG to create their own labels and Jennie would not have released Slow motion and Spot, and OTG.

Their vocals are not bad, just not as strong as other groups. I would love to see any other group go out there perform is hot weather, dance hard choreo while singing LIVE. Not many other groups can do that. Other people will mention various girl groups claiming "look! they can do it" but thats ALL in specially controlled korean venues where sound production teams monitor everything. BP didn't sound the best either, and they are a mostly English speaking group too. Theres plenty of shorts or videos clipped from Coachella that shows similar examples. Only reason why BP gets a pass is because they are the #1 girl group for a long time. In the end LSF will get past this just like BP did, and life will go on - I just hope the evil bitch that is mhj gets locked up or shunned from the industry for trying to deflect the fire from all over the world by mentioning idols by their name or other groups.

Let's get this straight. Hybe LIED to MHJ and New Jeans that they would debut first. Also, whether MHJ is guilty or not, she's not the one that created the mess. She was trying to deal with this quietly (no one disputs this) when Hybe launched a pre-emptive nuclear attack slinging allegations against her instead of filing a formal criminal complaint then announcing it. Attacking her on unproven allegations was nothing more than a powerplay trying to force her out to bypass the legalities of justifying firing her. Le Serrafim, Illit, and New Jeans were always going to get dragged into this as secondary players in the drama. New Jeans wouldn't exist though except for MHJ and they exploded onto the scene when MHJ made the ballsy move of releasing "Attention" cold after Hybe wouldn't cough up any promotional money for their debut. Is anyone actually stupid enough to think Hybe has clean hands in any of this? So MHJ held a press conference. What was she supposed to do? Let Hybe attack her without answering? From what I can gather, the people on the ground in Korea know Hybe is a sketchy company at best and support her. Until all the facts come out in court (if it does get to that), we simply don't know the full story, but for right now, I'm with MHJ and I'm surprised more people are supporting an ego-driven, money-hungry conglomerate over someone with a years-long track record as an innovative artist.This certainly wasn't the case when Blackpink was struggling to get out from under YG, and look what they did when they got (individually) free. Stay Strong, MHJ. Let's see what's what when it all shakes out...

No they didn't lie. and lmao MHJ was NOT wanting to do this quietly, she took it public because she didn't get what she wanted and she got caught stock manipulating while trying to promote NJ (her babies) She has no business bringing down any other artist by mentioning them by NAME of GROUP but she did all that to ge the public to side with her. She knows shes cooked legally, shes trying to sway public image to get viewed as a 'just a mom and a woman going up against the big bad company' What you don't know is that shes a literal billionaire in Korea, she has so much money. @@LeonScottKennedySama I don't know MHJ's net worth (I find it hard to believe she's a billionaire when IU, supersuccessful singer/songwriter/actress/businesswoman is only worth a reported $50 mil or so and the Pinks just under that) but whatever. If MHJ is rich, then money isn't a factor in the fight so it's a fight against Hybe over creative/commercial control of New Jeans. I thought MHJ had full creative control over them but apparently Hybe is trying to finesse that by squeezing their budgets and promoting Le Serrafim and Illit over them. (Sending Le Serrafim to Cochella without adequate prep definitely did not work and may have hurt the group more than if they'd just stayed home.) I'm still not sold on the whole "stock manipulation" charge. Pulling a hostile takeover is difficult and tricky even for experienced traders (like the recent Disney/Peltz effort) so the whole idea of driving the stock down enough to gain a controling interest, which would cost hundreds of millions, just seems pretty far-fetched and so far Hybe is only accusing her of talking about it and not actually doing it. It's certainly not something she would have tried on her own. I'm still puzzled by your insistance MHJ took this public before Hybe. Am I wrong that Hybe struck first? Am I wrong that Hybe debuted Le Serrafim before NJ? Am I wrong that Illit is a deliberate clone of NJ? Even casually fans were confused by the similarities. As I've said repeated, it's all "He said, she said..." until we get to court. Can't wait for the Kdrama...
