🔴 Unmanned Warfare : The New Age of Autonomous Military Technology Is Already Here!

Ғылым және технология

Hello, today I want to speak with you about a fact we all have noticed over the last couple of years but never spoke about in depth on this channel. The fact is: Warfare has changed. We now live in a world where conventional peer-to-peer conflicts have become an unpleasant reality again. While the previous conflicts of the last two decades were mainly dominated by asymmetric warfare in mostly unconventional settings, with a strong emphasis on small, highly specialized, and skilled armies, war has turned into an old-fashioned numbers game involving a lot of manpower and equipment again. Especially countries with larger populations have a strong advantage here by nature. But not only this, paradoxically, war has also become more unmanned, and new advances in technology have the potential to become a surrogate in warfare, acting as a force multiplier, especially for smaller countries who would otherwise be at a numerical disadvantage given the new/old circumstances.
In this video we take a look in to the future and what already is there in stock based on my two last visits to the International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi where the host country alone showcased over 25 new products in the unmanned and autonomous sector.

Every time I use GPT4 lately, its been an absolutely fascinating and terrifying experience at the same time. I feel like we are losing grip of what's makes us human. These machines do everything so much faster, better and smarter than us. It funny when you tell GPT4 to make jokes. But in the very near future, someone could be speaking in plain language to a drone swarm and then they would go off to hunt and kill thousands of people in a span of a few minutes.

LLM just have access to all the data in the internet and the data processing structure allows it to search through that large body of data, take "relevant" information (the key secret sauce), and return what it finds relevant. The general way it does this is by making a mathematical representation of that text and returns the mathematical average of that representation, after converting it back to text.

It’s easy, the same as humans vs humans. When you’re enemy doesn’t have enough drones/ Resource’s you are defeated. Better technology and the amount of unmanned weapons. Humans could be used to hold the captured grounds and build new defenses.

When a robot was killed on one side. A person on the robots home world would be selected to die for it. This kept the war going forever but no more damage to the parties home world lol
