Domestic violence professional here. You can see the power and control the first guy has over his wife. All of the things she’s done (i.e. the lying about a job, cheating etc) is a direct response to his emotional and physically abusive and controlling behavior. He even said…she lies to me b/c she’s scared of how I will react. She even said anything I do I disappoint him. It’s ok for him to cheat though.. I hope and pray she realizes her worth and gets out of this relationship. I’ve seen situations like this and end in serious hurt and/or death. 😢

'Karamo is the best'. I don't believe that Jerry, Maury, and Steve had given better advice and feel more like real people. Karamo tries to hard to be everyone's, which can help people open up to him but it also makes it seem like he's not being genuine since he'll try to make almost anyone sympathetic by bringing up there past. Karamo sometimes feels like a one trick pony whose only method to help people is to tell them they have issues because of their past. I don't think it's right for a host to bring someone's past unless they bring up first because you never know if someone is ok with it.

@@lesterwilliamsjr649 he brings up people's past because USUALLY, people refuse to see it. In this one, the man was just unhinged and making excuses. But sometimes you have to delve back to go forward. It all depends but most people need to be confronted by their past to really wake up. I think it's just his understanding of generational trauma that makes him 'the best' in my eyes. I still watch Steve and Maury religiously everyday but I don't know, karamo is just different to me

And 9/10 p will say something to spark him to bring up their past. Jerry, Maury and Steve?? 😂 Karamo is a therapist and not to say the others don’t give good advice, but I’m gonna take advice from Karamo before any of the others.

With the second couple, the mother is SO VIBRANT AND SO FULL OF LIFE! Love, please just leave the "little boy" alone. You deserve so much more...

In this episode, I love how Karmo recognizes when he can no longer get through to the 2nd person & lets it go. He doesn’t waste his, nor their time. Not only that, recognizing unhealthy behavior and little boundaries are everything when you RECOGNIZE THEM ❤

If that dad isn’t going to step up and be a dad, then he just needs to sign his rights off. If he isn’t going to do anything he should go and do it. Either step up or sign his rights off.

The part when Karamo speaks to the first couple directly brings me to tears. He gave them hope, and he showed her a way should she need it. I pray this brings them closer. They both deserve to be happy. Karomo❣️you got me, Bruh. Can I get a hug!?

The second mom tries to sound strong and assertive, but her actual language reveals how desperate she is for him to come back. He’s said and shown her repeatedly he doesn’t want to be a family or come back to her.

I live by this: Don’t give any man a second chance to disrespect you,,,, when he shows you who he is, believe him,,,, saying sorry means nothing My husband has never even asked me how much I make, he pays all the bills, and I don’t take advice of that, I peep in the fridge on the way to work, and stop and get what’s needed on the way home,,,, I don’t wash dingy socks, I keep him on white ones, he never will be out of his hygiene products and I clothes shop for us both,,,, partnership

This is a sick situation. One is going to jail and other to the mortuary. This no way to live. 😢😢😢

The language this young woman uses when speaking of her relationship with her husband is more so that of a daughter and father, than a wife and husband. Yes, cheating does have a tendency to “disappoint” The person that you e cheated on, so that should go without saying. I would be interested in knowing what her relationship with her father was like.

Definitely as applaud 1st man for seeking help with his anger. They need couples counseling too. Probably plan weekly/monthly/annual things as a family so everyone will have something to look forward to. Find a church to attend as a family.

I was in a relationship just like the first couple. I promise you, he has beaten her down so bad that she genuinely feels like a failure. She lies because she feels like she has to in order to avoid upsetting him. She can’t come to him and tell the truth, even though lying makes it worse, it’s her defense mechanism against him. She wouldn’t be this way in a loving relationship. I’m telling you, he is the epitome of an abuser. Physically, mentally and emotionally. I desperately hope she has found the better life that Karamo promised her, because Karamo was right. There is a better life. My life began on the day I left my abuser.

Husband is sent off stage as Karano says on National Tv, I wanted to gove you this abuse hotline number secretly bc I know you have to fly back home with your abuser. 30 days later husband is watching his episode of karamo before he leaves for work in the morning and the abused is making his placing his breakfast and coffee on the table. She has forgotten about the hotline number… What do we think happened in that household at the end of their segment??😮 Probably should have given the wife the hotline number off camera or at least cut that part off of the episode so only the audience would know she had the hotline number.

Men need to stop using women to valid there masculinity. I'm so tired of seeing men believing that to preserve there manhood they need to constantly prove they attract woman and have a faithful woman in there life. There is more to being a man then getting woman to approve of you. This is why we got so many men fixated on cheating while cheat themselves because they view being a man as a paradox where it's about getting as many women as possible to like them as well as keeping a woma committed to them. One of the first steps someone needs to take in understanding what makes a man, is learning a real man doesn't require the approval of a woman or women to know there worth.

Absolutely agree, except I don't think her behavior is due to her being "young in the head." She clearly has a complete lack of impulse control and a high degree of selfishness in comparison to other people. She cries more for herself, and not for her man, because if she actually cared about him, she wouldn't keep making bad decisions. And that has nothing to do with immaturity, because I'm pretty sure none of us did what she's done at any time in our lives. She's grown and knows better, so this is a choice on her part.

That first couple I hope they get help and practice what they learned. If not move on but I not sure he be able to let her go without hurting her. Some people know they need to move on but don't want the other person be free to have freedom to date others. She about ten years younger and maybe didn't get her experience of dating and freedom before him. He been locked down many years and maybe didn't take time to experience freedom and himself.
