You can actually do without disabling face id. -create new gesture Gestures 1-swipe up -wait and count for 3 second (cuz after 3 second the face id will disappear and appears the passcode) Then continue the rest of the gestures. (I mean the passcode gesture) 😊

You can also just swipe up, tape where it would say "face-id" then it goes to the passcode then type in your pass code.

Thank you Danial - I followed all your steps except resetting face ID - it seems that the new version of OS allows it.

Awesome tutorial. It works! One thing nice is even though I turned the Face ID off to do the process, I just toggled it back on for it to work without having to set it up again.

Btw , u don’t necessarily need to disable face ID , u just need an additional tap on (Face ID) text to open the number pad. Plus u can do it as quick as u can to make it work faster (which can also help for ppl to not have time to memorize ur password). 👌🏼👋

There’s actually no need to memorize it when just by saying unlock my iphone it will be unlocked without you needing to know the password

Is it possible to use this facility to be able to hang up phone calls using your voice only? I am disabled and have an iPhone for emergency calls out should all else (Internet, Alexa etc) fail, but if I get through to someone's answering service/voicemail then I cannot hang up the call my end which could potentially make the emergency worse. I'm thinking of a situation where someone else has my phone and wants to unlock by holding it up to my face it to get access to my private information. I would like to be able to say a command that locks the phone and disables face ID without me touching the screen or any buttons.

it doesnt need to disable face id. Just when youre making the pattern after swiping up wait about 4 second and the push the buttons. Just like when the face id cant recognise your face and you have to push you password after about 4 sec.
