the coldest ever was when I delivered in Fairbanks, 60 below, 40 below in Vermont where I lived, right now we are having a heat wave 33 above, when you changed gloves reminded me going through several pair trying to keep hands dry and not freezing, pull toy here

Nice ending - proper freezing weather but you got the job delivered on time and without mishap as always. Must have been a relief to get back in the cab with the heater on warming your hands and feet and heading back home

Thats some tough weather conditions at the unload site. Made me cold watching. Ole Mack started right up. Macks usually start good in cold weather. When I was logging and everything in the woods had Detroits we used the Mack spot trucks to jump everything else off.

Mechanix makes a couple different sets of cold weather gloves. I use them when I ride, something to look into.

After 20 years as a construction laborer in the NYC area I've banged my shins more times than I can count, usually gets infected (cellulitis) and I need an antibiotic, hopefully that wasn't the case with you. Cold hand trick I use when I have work gloves on… Latex gloves underneath work gloves. Keeps the "wet" off your skin which keeps your hand on the good side of numb.
