Samut, Vizier of Naktamun is a great Aftermath card that never got a chance in any format, so let's give the ex-planeswalker another shot! Using hasty creatures like Bloodbraid Elf and creatures that create attacking creature tokens like Hanweir Garrison, we'll turn our attackers into card draw spells in Historic Gruul Aggro!
This deck is an absolute blast to play! You just fling creatures at the wall and hope they stick, then refuel when you drop a Samut and do it all over again! Unfortunately, this deck is not fit to face off against the Sheoldred/Orcish Bowmasters/The One Ring meta, since you play into the punishment of Bowmasters and Sheoldred.
Overall, we went 5-2 with the deck, including a few wins against the exact black and Dimir decks that we thought we'd have problems with! Give this deck a shot if you have the wildcards and want to have a fun time!
