Another wet day at Speedway Emmen! Nonetheless we were there to catch all the action! The Unlimited Bangers were in action for their points championship and the entertainers league. The Limiteds were racing just for fun. After the final it was full contact hence why there is limited footage from them in this video. Enjoy!
What is Banger Racing?
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Old scrap vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to 1⁄4 mile (440 yd; 400 m) long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations. Banger racing is often confused with stock car racing, although there are differences between the two, despite often racing at the same tracks. Banger racing is also often confused with Nascar.

Sometimes I feel kinda bad about the older, rarer cars, like that yellow limo. But I believe that a person can do whatever they want with their own vehicle. Anybody who wanted to restore it could have gone out and found it, just like the banger boys did.

The yellow limo has been on sale for a while before this banger racer got his hands on it. It was a one of. So hard to get parts for as well. He paid good money.

Shame the weather was against them again but looked a rated domestic session, the yellow limo had a blinder by looks of it
It was a good old fashioned Muddy mess. I likes the old caddy Limo. If for nothing more than nostalgia.

Surely it would be better to scrape the sludge from.the track?

They did that every few heats but at the moment the track got better it started ro rain again.
Do they not make helmets with tear offs over there? Muddy face seems like no fun (and not safe)

They do but the amount of spray and mud is so high that after a lap youre done pulling
