Good review but I might have missed any comments on the unusable 48v DC port. I bought this on Cyber Monday, but it’s REALLY sh#ty that Bluetti still hasn’t released the D40 accessory for the “proprietary“ DC 8a/48v port yet. I opted for the updated 200L over the 200Max, even though I really needed the 30a/12v port for my Skoolie build. I can return it until end of Jan., so we’ll see if I keep it.

Thanks! Yeah I believe I mentioned that you would need some D40 accessory to use that port. It has just been over a month since the 200L was released, but I am a little surprised that they still don't have any adapter or device to use with that custom port. Let me know what you end up deciding.

Nice the anker c1000 AC won’t display wattage below 15w it’s similar to delta 2 some say . I wish they display 1w but I guess it does only when using Ac ups mode , but not with built battery mode self power to ac output ports . This ac200L looks like a bigger beast than the anker c1000 but for my needs I wouldn’t fit on the location I for now have for the c1000 it’s taller and heavier . Are you planning a teardown for these ac200L wonder what cells are inside and the electronics . 20A ac input is big demand not all wall outlets can handle that amount .

I was actually doing some comparisons with the Anker and it's hit and miss. It seems to display a wattage every few seconds or so. I don't think it's super accurate, but at least it seems to indicate that something is plugged in. It wasn't something I had really noticed before on any power station I had looked at. I do know that many Battery Management Systems struggle to display accurate numbers at that low of an output. Just something I wanted folks to be aware of. Yeah, it's about 1/3 taller than the Anker is and I believe twice the weight. I'm still debating on the teardown. I don't think I've seen one for a bluetti before, so might be interesting to do once I finish up with the other tests. I agree that 20a is a big demand, that's why there's a current control in the app. I think my biggest issue with the charging is the fact that they advertise fast AC charging, but you have to buy another component in order to make it work.

@@AdamDeLay07 on the anker c1000 the unit states 12A for the ac input so when we have the anker plugged in to the grid the max ac output wattage cannot exceed around 1400watts loads . If we do it trips the ac output wonder how different in wattage is the ac200L and you should if you want run some test and show in your next video test …

@@AdamDeLay07 I was going to ask you know ac200l has many ups modes anker only one but not many run the ups test when the battery is below 100% it should work on any battery percentage 70-99% give it a test I doubt there will be any difference but what I’m more interested and curious is if indeed the ac outputs voltage of the ac200L does change while it’s on its own/ charging/ when ups black hits , maybe plug in your multi meter or watts metter to detect any voltages difference . I am curious id the ac200l is really running on the ac or on the battery even on charging mode. The anker does pass throw any ac grid voltage value to the anker output ports so some of that wattage goes to the battery and the rest to the anker output disconnecting the battery to the inverter and that’s how they are able to recharge the battery while powered by grid , but not I do wonder how the ac200L was made in that particular area

@@charlschuck6 it seems that the loads are running off battery power, at least when the unit isn’t at 100% SOC. I had a 1200w load running at the same time I was pulling in over 1300w of power from the grid.

How do you charge the dang thing? I plugged into wall and nothing happened! Is there a special setting or button I need to push?

Nope, nothing special. I would make sure the connection is seated fully on the power station. As soon as it detects AC power it should start charging.

Thanks. Yeah I know you have to do that. I just find it annoying that one of their selling points is a fast charge, but you have to buy more stuff in order to do it.
