Yes, Legon offers Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences under which you will find Nutrition and food science.

Hi, please answer me,does legon offer bsc nutrition just nutrition as a programme do they do it at legon currently i want to know. If they don't where esle do they offer bsc nutrition not nutrition and dietetics just nutrition. Thanks.

The program introduces students to the chemistry of living organisms and the experimental techniques that are used to probe the structures and functions of biologically important molecules. Biochemistry studies the chemical processes of the cell, cell biology deals with the structure and function of the cell and molecular biology focuses on the molecular basis of life processes. The aim of these three disciplines is to provide an understanding of the molecular mechanisms of biological processes (life). They are laboratory and research based sciences that apply the concepts of Biology and Chemistry to the vastly different biological systems.

Yes, the Cutoff point is 15/16 for general arts students

Yes. With grade 18 you can only offer business administration as a fee-paying student at the Accra city campus. Your chances may be very slim though.

Please is banking and finance, Economics and Accounting, under Bachelor of Arts?

It depends on your total aggregate and typically UG does not accept D7. They accept from A1-C6

I had E8 in Mathematics which is my weakest subject. Which course can I apply to if my total aggregate is 24? Is it posible to apply and better my weakest subject and the apply to the course I want to offer. I am applying as a matured student. If I qualify for any of the courses with my E8 please advice me on what I should do. But if I dont qualufy too, what should do? I am tired of writing NOVDEC.

Unfortunately University of Ghana will not accept E8 in Mathematics. You have to keep writing NOV/DEC to better your grade otherwise you should consider reading a vocational course or education. With aggregate 24 you stand a good chance of reading Education at UG or UEW or UCC. I know it is frustrating to keep writing NOV/DEC but that is the best option. As a matured student you have to write the Qualifying Examination conducted by the University of Ghana in English (Essay, Comprehension, Grammar and Usage) and General Paper (Quantitative Methods, Critical & Logical Thinking and Current Affairs) in order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree programmes.

No you can't. Unless the general performance of those who applied is low, which is unlikely for Legon. You can still put in your application and see.

Those numbers are the cutoff points meaning your total aggregate should not exceed the number stated for a particular course otherwise you may not gain admission.

They offer Bachelor of Fine Arts with these departments: Department of Dance Studies/ Department of Theater Arts/ Department of Music. I don't know if they offer graphic design in any of these departments. Perhaps you can call the school and verify.
