I am loving this series so much! Your play style of prioritizing aesthetics has helped me loosen up my own standards and I've found a really nice balance of pretty and functional for me as a result!

Came across your channel randomly and haven't stopped watching the series. Really solid, dude!

I actually build my first gaming PC back in 2018 just to play Anno 1800 on launch day. However, I got stuck in the min max rabbit hole and the game became too formulaic and precise to my enjoyment. Then I discovered this playlist and realized that the game is played better without thinking in efficiency all the time and now I am giving it a second try and I am enjoying a lot!

I’m worried for when Hunt backstabs you. You need more defense to prevent the AI from perceiving you as weak.

We need more town ornaments that aren’t super fancy. For worker and artisan areas. And as you said being able to change the ground/floor of each item would be great too. I’d love maybe a cobblestone walkway similar to the brick streets and also allow path ends to touch the road so people don’t have to step on grass before the path starts. Little things like this would be huge I reckon for us beauty builders.

I’ve now bought this game and Frostpunk thanks to your Let’s Plays. Awesome stuff man

Bakeries are one of the few industrial buildings that you can confidently place within a worker environment for asthetic reasons. Thats because the model actually has a window looking like they could sell their wares straight from there.

I’ve noticed now with the city life pack theres a bakers stall, so I guess I’ll end up using that instead of needing to place warehouses... maybe - with a worlds fair i suppose the city needs a warhouse anyways

Sailing 101 - never sail against the wind - you can sail at an angle and then turn towards your destination (distance might seem further this way but you'll get there quicker in the end than sailing in a straight line against the wind). I know it's only a game but it can be applied in the game as well ;) I do it all the time if I'm not bored esspecially if I have to chase an annoying fast scooner :D good job so far! I really love your series!

I've had about a 5 month streak of not watching any game playthroughs on KZread which this one ended. I really struggle to watch any these days, but this one hooked me. I bought the game a few days prior to your first episode and struggled, but this series really helped me out. The downside is that I have already sunk about 80 hours in and haven't played anything else since. Send help.

This has helped me tremendously when it comes to demands and upping %age of production. Thinking of happiness as a commodity for this makes so much sense to me now.

Before power, people used "candles and gas". Yes, many lights were gas lights. After electricity, the number of explosions from old gas lights leaking, was crazy! They eventually outlawed gas lighting but allowed gas to continue to be used for cooking and heat, with the invention of pilot-lights, electricity became safer to use in "electric houses". :)

Started watching the series while restarting a game of my own with all the DLCs (played the last time between release and first DLC). I decided to use Crown Falls as a place to put my Zoo (for money and so I know how much space I have left for settlers later :) ) while I run Expeditions and optimize all my builds with Town Halls/Trade Unions. So far its running pretty smooth - there is so much to do and this way you have the money to build Commuter Piers when you decide to settle there (I have map on large though, so I need more ships for my trade routes)

Atleast one city in the world is open and growing during this pandemic. It is almost like a journey going through your videos. Amazing!

Finally! I have been waiting for this all wekend :D I love the way you build your cities!

I commented on the last video how much me and my girlfriend are enjoying this playthrough. We've just got past the 17th hour in our own multiplayer save, think our brains are going to melt with how much there is to do! Just noticed that my first island in our game is exactly the same topography as yours. Keep these videos up mate they are truly so good!

Love the Cape Trewlaney idea of farming the heck out of it. WIth trade unions can get the majority of what you could farm on the land as well. Definitely going to try this out

I usually never comment, but your style is very good for this game. I felt Stellaris was too vast for your detail-oriented presentation. The scale where every decision has a tangible impact that you can benefit from or show in the same episode makes for a tighter presentation. It makes it more interesting for me. Keep at it! I'm really into this playthrough and if I were to suggest something I'd suggest doing a small, 15-second big picture talk as part of the end or start of the episodes. "With our production up and running in the new world, this/the next episode will feature an expansion of our fleet to tackle the challenges of securing resources to build a university." Just my $0.02 dollars. Have a good day!

If you find really small Ireland on the way between two world, you can make it as distribution center and use it to supply multiple location to new world.

I wish real life would play ominous music when there is a illness going around, at least then people can't deny it's existence except for maybe the deaf people....

You probably know this already, but you can shift-click to set up waypoints - very helpful when getting rid of fog of war.

I'm loving the series. You make the city nice as I would like to do but have no patience to. Just on think that is making me nuts I'm quite sure the theater is backwards 🤔

to not confuse people a way is to try to focus on one area like the new world or another at a time, but only do the necessary things on the secound place. but that's up to you, for me it's the same what ever you do, just thought this might help.

Brilliant yet again! When building a single square of path / Road is there a way to disable the double click? Minor thing but grates on me ...really looking forward to the one remaining episode I have and then continuing with new releases.

Cause the ships can only fire from the sides, so when you click it won’t be able to fire cause it won’t have line of sight

Regarding Christmas decorations I always make my self in Antarctica a Christmas Island :-) looks soo much better with the snow

I haven't finished the series yet but I just wanted to say thank you, thank you not only for giving me an amazing playthrough of one of the most beautiful games ever made but also inspiring a lot of people to try this game out. You turned on your 4th brewery and checked your beer consumption and said "OK, cool", but you never looked at your new hops and malt consumption for your 4th brewery. Don't just look at the end consumer goods, you need to check the entire production chain!

You are right, Crow Falls is not very manageable. If you want a big investor population, you will need to colonize every large island in the new world. Also it is too big, I cannot even find things on my own island.

U can speed up time when waiting for a few extra bricks.

That reverse theater bothers me in ways that can't be describe. Awesome videos however, I learn so much about this game by watching them.

Is this version of the game with all the DLC's still available to purchese and if so whee would i buy the game and all the DLC''s. Do the DLC's come separate and what requirements are needed for your computer for the game to be compatible?

Why don't you click on the ship (that should be destroyed) but always next to it? They will automatically fire as soon as they can. Also this manual sideway turns aren't necessary are they? Is there something I miss? (at the Bente quest 25:06)

Use your head to think about everything and than add it like number line think of it all at once .use the detail.if you get a fuzzy feeling in you head some where focus on it hold it as long as possible .than Ingress

I've a question - Why do you keep declining the alliance offer from Waifu Bente? Is it just a matter of not wanting an alliance? Are there certain pros and cons to entering an alliance?

It's like in real life, an alliance is bilateral - if someone declares war against her, her allies are affected, too

Why did you have to play this game? Excellent series but I bought it and it has taken every evening for me. With so regions unlocked I constantly feel overwhelmed and that ‘one more turn’ civ feeling is constant. I love it and hate it so much.

Stellaris for me is much more fun to build alliances/federations. Build economy and make a great defensive fleet and antagonise the xenophobes
