The University Belt is the name of a de facto subdistrict in Manila, Philippines. It refers to the area where there is a high concentration of colleges and universities in the city. The population is about 360,000 students.The districts of Quiapo, Sampaloc, and San Miguel are traditionally considered to be the University Belt, although other clusters of schools that lie along the southern bank of the Pasig River, mostly at the districts of Intramurous and Ermita, as well as the southernmost part of Malate near the city limits are also sometimes included. Each of the colleges and universities found in the district are a short walking distance of each other.

I used to walk and stroll this area when we were still living in the Laperal Apartments in Recto in the 80s. It brings back good old memories.

FEU, nagaral ako diyan noong 60's, ngayon marami na akong mga apo At Apo sa tuhod at naninirahan na sa ibang Bansa. Nostalgic, naaalala ko ang Mami at Siopao diyan.

4:50 omg. parehong pareho kayo ng ng isang channel napanood ko sa puwesto na ito. nandito din siya around 5 minute mark. 20 yrs ago madalas ako dito for board review saka PRC office, around this area lang alam ko.😅 Sabagay common naman yun sa mga kailangan mag-review dito at PRC.

I studied also in PUP Sta. Mesa but we have some subjects in PUP Lepanto way back in 1987 to 1988 when I was in 3rd year to 4th year college.
