@@light_bit No the judges chose 20 girls from the winning groups (4 from each). The ones not chosen plus the girls from the losing group all had a chnce to get picked by votes. So the top 21 in voting from the girls not chosen would also make it. Dan was not in this top 21.

Maybe everyone expected her to make it so wanted to vote for their other picks they didn’t think would make it? I know I was voting for her she had such a stable pretty voice

The fact that judges pick Jang Sua over Riel is also ridiculous.

The Cute Winners is a very good team, picking between them would be hard. But I agree that Yuri and Nako didn't have that much impact over Daeun, Linh Dan or Hyerin in the overall performance.

I think Nako was so good and deserved to be saved but I def think yuri shouldn’t have been over linh dan or hyerin, BUT I think they aimed to save people they thought wouldn’t pass through fan voting

I didn't know they had a sister duo on the show. It's gonna be sad when one of them inevitably gets eliminated 😔

well do i have a suprise for you!

1.I paid for a 3-month premium subscription to the app that distributes this in my region simply because your reviews and summaries made me want to check this show out. 2. Based on your previous reviews of survival shows, I kind of have the idea of who can make it to the final lineup. I think it's a huge factor if you got the Unicorn Ticket from the get-go, so a lot of the final lineup could come from the 20 who were chosen by the judges. On the other hand, I still don't know about what their positions could be, and that's also another factor. 3. Fully agree with you that Vu Linh Danh and Riel stood out! Glad that Riel got in through the fan vote! 4. Also very satisfying that Jin Hyeonju got a good leader edit! I sincerely hope that she gets to shine more in the next episodes. 5. I loved the dynamic that Oukkik and Elisia had going on. Oukkik did really well and nailed her parts even if those weren't what she wanted. When Chaewon messed up the rap part I was like--whaaat? And the rap part was split into two.. they gave the other one to Yu.. if there were two rappers, why wasn't Oukkik the other one? I don't know, a lot of the stuff must have been so edited out that a lot of things just don't make enough sense. 6. Lim Seowon is so monstrously talented .. but, 12 years old? Really? 7. I am realistic that a lot of people that I liked will not make it to the final lineup. Heck, a lot of the people that stood out to me already got eliminated. Like, I get it, Kotoko is so cute, but, over Yukino? Who did so well? What..? No hate to Kotoko, really.. I guess the view is just different from the judges' table. And maybe she has that magnetic X-Factor going on, I guess.. 8. I wonder what kind of final lineup they're going for. My bet is that 5 or 6 out of the final lineup will be Korean. I also think that the younger contestants have more chances of winning. Like, for the Bae sisters, I think, realistically, Yeram has a higher chance of debuting over Haram. As much as I like Haram, and I admire how her moves are cleaner and more controlled, the final lineup might be more leaning towards Yeram's more explosive energy. 9. As always, they will cater to Koreans tastes first, mostly young people maybe, because I think they're the primary audience for this. 10. Japanese contestants might be the last 2-3 remaining slots in the lineup because they're a big market. 11. I'm saying this a Southeast Asian person, specifically Filipino, but as much as I admire Riel and Elisia, they could fall short of the final lineup.

@@ejay11000 She kind of reminds me of Honoka Yahagi a little, so I get why she would have Japanese fans. I guess I just have been burned a lot by these survival shows before. From Krisha Chu, to Anthonny of Boys' Planet. So, I guess I'm a bit jaded by now. There's a strong chance that they'll always put Koreans first, and then foreigners would have to battle it out for the crumbs, you know? The "global girl group" tag line is just for the initial part of the show, like GP, too. I think if you say "global," it's more Kat's Eye than what's going to come out of this show.

Just look how much screen time she gets, remember vanesya is getting the most votes, but who gets the most screen time. Elisia's looks actually fit the korean aesthetic, hence why she gets so much screentime

Right now I really like Choi Hyerin, Jin Hyeonju, Lee Sunwoo, Park Yewon, Nana, Bae Haram, Narumi, & Kotoko. The episodes are hard to watch though, so I am mostly watching the performances. I am also trying to focus on the not 12, 13, and 14 year olds but the show makes it difficult. T-T

DDU-DU-DDU-DU performance was really good, prob my faorite of the show so far. I was expecting Fire to be better because of how much they teased Gehlee's walk and the somewhat shady edits for Sujin BUT I was wrong. Also the editing indeed doesnt male sense bc I dont understand why they spent soooo much time introducing Anxin and giving her-only arcs in the first 3eps knowing she gets eliminated in ep4 anyway.

I feel like from your perspective it really hit me because like when I came into the show I really wanted to like individually look each girl and vote based off a talent and personality because a lot of girls I want to vote for their talent but then I look at the personality like when they're in groups and I get disappointed because they're not looking at it as like a group competition when they're in the groups they look at it individual and I feel like that depends the purpose of voting for them cuz there's so that I want to vote for

On top of that I feel like when you're watching the show there's girls you feel like we do better with some of like other girls but they're not getting good together like the groups are being more in-depth with it and then along with that I feel like some girls are getting pretty tired over like not like their talent but over nationality

dddd backstage was such a mess 😭 Sumin should've volunteered as leader from the start. that would've saved Sujin from a bad edit and Sumin would've gotten a good edit too that could've kickstarted her popularity. Too late now. Also, DDDD had FIVE foreigners. That's a lot. They must've been frustrated because they couldn't understand what was going on

There's no actual vote for this entire battle week apparently, both the 1 on 1 and revenge, so it's useless, both for the contestants and us, but especially for the contestants. Based on their timeline, there is a vote, but they showed us, the audience nothing during that voting time period. They only uploaded the performance when the episodes started broadcasting unless they had some inaccessible platform where they uploaded things right on time 😂

These shows aren't ever fair because they never show everyones performances since episode one

I feel like they're just creating a group for lim seowon so they can hold on to her talent until she comes of age. So maybe a core of seowon, gabi, sieun and sujin and other young contestants who can gain popularity in the duration of the show. Who knows maybe the plan all along was to have them train for another two years before debuting. It would make sense since most of the contestants don't have prior training before joining. But lim seowon would only be 14 if that time comes though.

she is the only indonesian, so my guess is a lot of indonesian fans are voting for her regardless of her (lack of) talent or abilities

I don't get why Into the New World is OK but Fire is somehow not bcos it was released in 2009, into the new world was released in 2007 BUT I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING about the year it was released and even got praised sooo........why the side comment on Fire?

I would have liked that u mentioned the new "Road to PRISM" system which I found to be really interesting
