Universal Studios Hollywood Review: Does it stack up to the other SoCal parks?
Universal Studios Hollywood was the first Universal theme park to open all the way back in 1964. The park has changed a lot since, but does it stack up to Disney, and the other SoCal parks? Thanks for watching, and feel free to subscribe!

Respect for you acknowledging that the Mario ride may not have been targeted towards you, but thank you for being there and giving your unbiased opinion.
I grew up with this park, so it’s very special to me. I’ve probably been here more times than any other park, my family and I used to go 5x a year with season passes. The atmosphere there is really great and the ride collection isn’t bad either. Compared to Disney, it isn’t as good, and they could definitely use more non-motion simulators, but what they do have is pretty solid. As you said, Mummy is a great coaster and JW is a great water ride. The standout at this park for me, though, is the studio tour. I love movies, so it’s really awesome to see some behind the scenes on the movie making process. I go on this thing every time I’m at the park, and it’s awesome. It’s actually super dynamic and changes every few years, giving it a lot of rerideability.

I slightly prefer Disney as well, and going 5 times a year sounds awesome!
3:18 Express doesn’t skip Mario kart. It guarantees you a one time entry into the land, but doesn’t work on Mario. The only way to skip the line for MK is the VIP pass. Other than that, great video!!

If ir doesn't work on Mario, it's skipping Mario Kart.

@@damienx0x wait times have gone down. A couple weeks ago I only waited 45 mins
The fact you don't get a map is super important. We went in knowing only about the CityWalk, Harry Potter, Simpsons and the Tour. We didn't even know about the lower part of the park where most of the thrill rides are located. It was explained the only way you could get a map was to download the app. A lousy way to force traffic to your app if you ask me.
Sorry Universal Studios Hollywood SUCKS!. Orlando is better!.
