I'm german, national sport is soccer, but the toughest sport in the world is rugby, so i adore the players of that sport. And even more, when it helps to reunite a country. Go Southafica! Go Springboks!!
I drove to work the Monday after the 1995 RWC win for South Africa. Turning off William Nicol drive in Fourways (Johannesburg) was this massive Oshkosh truck, with two equally massive Springbok flags stuck on both sides at the front of the truck. Two black guys inside wearing Springbok T-Shirts. I gave way. At that moment I knew we are united.
