    @@patriciachang8666 The screaming and yelling is meant to bring a "shock and awe" aspect to the young cadets, sort of to let them know that they're no longer in the comfort of their home, and that it's all supposed to be "military". Like most things in the military, it's sort of a rite-of-passage. The idea is to strip you of your individuality, and be "reformed" into the image that the military wants. Obviously, this isn't Marine boot camp, so this is pretty light stuff, but the idea is still there, sort of.

    As a filmmaker I have to point out that this video is the perfect example for filmmakers as to why the need for external sound recording is required. So that as you edit the spliced film together you maintain the audio track. This video is the result of what happens when you cut camera angles and use the camera mic as your main sound source, you end up with skipped audio in your final edit. This is why there are boom microphones and external sound microphones so you maintain sound integrity. As for the Air Force cadets, congratulations and I wish you success at you work hard to become commissioned officers.

  • @agentsmith413

    @agentsmith413

    this has nothing to do with what they used to record audio. this is just poor half assed editing. using a boom mic isn't going to make you not have skipped audio. poor audio editing is what gives skipped audio.
