Yeah not many cities have such high floor trams running through their city center with those kinds of elevated platforms right in the middle of pedestrianized streets.

I once tried to hold my boyfriend's hand at this stop, when we were sitting on the tram. He nearly had a stroke and said 'Guys don't do that in Manchester! (I'm Northern Irish)....I thought, 'THEY DO MUCH WORSE THAN HOLDING HANDS IN MANCHESTER!' 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Manchester has changed dramatically since I lived there, I was born in Rusholme and I barely recognised Manchester Piccadilly other than the bus station and the railway station entrance at the top of Whitworth street, time doesn’t half change things, I moved out of Manchester in 1992.

I don't see the point in taking a tram from Market St. to Piccadilly Station & then walking almost all the way back. Weird?

Same ho ever said this last comment well I agree with them what is the actual point getting a tram from the city to Piccadilly when it goes around so slow I guess it's for people that can't walk or something like that 😂🎉
