Thanks for posting this. I just picked up my scrambler a couple months ago, and ordered this rack to mount a Givi box to. It's all working great! I didn't get enough lock tite on one bolt, and it tried to back-out on me. But now that I've resolved that. I'm Very happy!

It is kind of long and kind and hides the taillight a bit.

I appreciate you making this video. I was wondering if you'd be willing to answer a question... If I'm just installing the luggage rack, do you see any reason to drop the fender? Looks like I could just do 4 Allen bolts on the sides?

I think I pulled it down out of the way for clearance purposes. But I don’t recall specifically if I needed to. I think in order to slide that out without scratching things up you need to Drop that fender out of the way. Hope this helps👍🏻

@@ManCaveMayhem you are correct. I got mine today and due to the shape of the rack and frame, you cannot remove it without following the instructions, and lowering the fender.

Considering this setup from Unit Garage for my Tuareg. @ManCave Mayhem now that you've had them on for a couple of months, how are you liking them?

I really like them a lot the quality is good. I’ve since sold the bike though and the racks along with it so I can’t give you any more of an opinion than that. The racks are super high-quality and I wouldn’t hesitate to get them again. They are very pricey though.

@@ManCaveMayhem Thanks for the reply. All of the aluminum panniers are pricey including the Motecs and Givis, but I'm willing to pay a few bucks more for quality and good design. I see in your videos that you changed up to the 900. Sweet ride! Enjoy.

Seems like no need for a tail tidy with that rack! 😂. Did I see you sold your scrambler? Why for?

The type of riding that I was doing was a lot of highway miles getting to long destinations and the wind protection just wasn’t there on the scrambler. I really did love the bike, but it didn’t work for my application. The tiger 900 checked all the boxes for me.

@@ManCaveMayhem I hear ya! Just installed a windscreen today so we’ll see how it does. But I kept my 2015 Tiger 800 xcx to be my touring bike. And then see how the scrambler works for me as I dial it in. Tiger 900s are pretty sweet though!
