It was a warm up game of 2011 world cup @ Bengaluru. I remember this match for 2 reasons. 1) I was there at the stadium. 2) Justin Langer their coach at that time give me one kookaburra white ball which I still have with me.

I wish they showed this angle more often in international cricket. They used to in the good old days.

yea morkel was more of a mid 130s to 140 bowler but at times he could really ramp it up to the late 140s to 150.

IDK. Morkel looks about low 140s here. Not crazy fast. Lee not express here either, but he was in his mid 30s by then.

@@jugheadsruleYep, Lee was about 140 kph to 145 kph on the One Day scene in 2011. Rarely he could hit 150 kph or over this speed by then. However in 2015 Big Bash, I saw him bowl one ball in the game at 149kph.

Morkel looks much more impressive than from the usual camera angle. He seems to get pace off the wicket and looks a nightmare to face. Tait is running in a lot faster than it looks like on the normal footage.

most probably this match is from wc2011 ,,, the bgm and the pacy attack made it feel like a war is going on... when two high class aggressive bowling attacks take the field, the pitch just seems to go out of the equation ,,, be it flat track slow track bouncy track seaming track whatever it is, u r bound to feel the heat ... now a days the most of the results are all abt home conditions and pitch

Tait's action is the most difficult to face. If any bowler can get replicate and improve his action,he is bound to be the best the game has seen. Only if he corrects it by having a braced front leg and a slightly closer to the ear arm while delivering the ball and closer to the umpire as well.

Long focal lengths and offset angles definitely mess with your perception of speed a lil' bit and make Lee, Steyn and Johnson look like "manageable" pace for a weekend warrior (which is obviously untrue). Says a lot about just how next-level Tait was that he still manages to look horrifying quick here.
