    I believe the battle shown in the snow is the radical arm of the revolt. The ones from Kyiv on their way to Moscow to link up with the Moscovy Section Alas, they were ambushed and surrendered (There are some wrongs and inadequacies in this comment, I feel, so any kind soul, feel free to correct me)

    They weren’t entirely ambushed, more so their commander tried to make the artillery and cavalry join with their rebellion when they unexpectedly were caught off guard, only problem was that they were lead by a loyal general, who ordered grapeshot and then cavalry to charge, (the commander whom held the flag was wounded)
