Unimog truck expedition North Russia Ural 1996 Extreme Adventure Offroad pt.1
In 1996 and 1999 a group of German Unimog drivers went for an expediton to Far Northern Russia, to find a way over the Ural mountains, in the Workuta - Salekhard area. Here you can see some impressions of their adventures in this very remote part of the country.

Hätte nicht gedacht, daß der MAN solche Probleme haben würde ! Die Reifenprofile sahen aber auch etwas sehr fein aus - bei allen drei LKW.

Der MAN ist ja auch schwerer, hat einen höheren Schwerpunkt und ist Kopflastig, wenn nicht ausgeladen. Man kann keinen Uniimog mit einem Kat vergleichen, da es zwei verschiedene Fahrzeugklassen sind.

addicz2 it did look like their might have been some driver error too.
So in Russia the roads suck, the towns suck, the music sucks, the houses suck, the weather sucks, the ferries suck, the beer sucks, the chicks that suck, suck....
