Hi John, I have been doing several youtube videos for the SDS100 scanner to help people with the learning curve. I just received my new BCD436HP scanner this morning and it has a lot of things that are the same as the SDS100 scanner so the learning curve has not been too bad with the 436hp. But keep looking at the youtube videos and you will learn a lot before you get the scanner, also download the Sentinel software and start working with it before you get the scanner, make up your favorites list and set up a profile for the radio and it will save a lot of time. Hi what do you have that your picking from, do you have all your favorites list turned on? I only get to pick from a simulcast system and not all my favorites.

Yes I have all my favorites on or you can turn on the Master Data Base also and pick from the list what you want to analyze
