maybe I'm pretty sensitive to color differences but I love the Signo 207 BLX and their rollerball counterpart. Good colors for signatures in business correspondence and a bit unique as well. maybe I'm weird but I like them a lot.

When you have a page full of writing with one color of pen, it is easy to tell which color it is. I love mine. Subtle, which gives it a vintage flavor.

I agree. The BLX pens are my favorite if I'm not using my Cross pen I've had for 30 years. Nice colors on the BLX 207

I completely agree with your review. I also have these pens and was very disappointed in the color. I would have preferred them to be a bit more pronounced.

Helpful information. I couldn't see the color difference on camera. I like the paper mate ink jet gel pens these days.

Thanks. Don't be too disappointed because it's also hard to see a difference in real life. Yep, I like Papermates as well.

Will the refills Signo UMR-87 and UMR-87E fit the Pilot G2s? The G2 refills are hard to come by in India and i dont want to invest in another Pen, so just wanted to know whether the refills will fit the G2 / Energel Alloy etc. , thanks.

I should have watched this review before buying an entire box of purple blx pens lol! I'm still on the lookout for a good dark purple gel pen ink. Most purple gel inks out there are way too bright to be used for more serious documents. I was hoping the purple blx line would fill my need and bought them based on some reviews I had seen, but was pretty disappointed with the color. It looks more gray black than purple black. Anyone here have any suggestions?

Very nice review, I like how you really touch all the important things to know what is good and bad about the pens. I am very picky about pens and I am having hard time to change my Pentel Gel Pen.

Yes, clearly I am too! :D Stick with what works. They were interesting, but I wouldn't buy these again.

The tip on the standard 207 is plastic not steel.

You may like the Vision Elite versions of these better. For some reason, the colors are much more pronounced with those ones. The Vision Elite red/black is a lovely burgundy color (but definitely much browner than, say, the Bordeaux Black in the 151s).

Oh man... I wanna try these. But I don't care for black pens, and by that I mean the outside barrel. I hate black pens because they are always hard to see/find in my bags and backpacks. Great video, love your details!

I find it amusing that you and a few others don't care for these pens because they are what they say they are - black infused with color. You're looking at them unfavorably because they aren't a little more colorful - color infused with black - and you want them to be. If you critiqued them as pens with black ink infused with color, I think you'd find them pens with great ink, but just too dark for your personal preference.

Personally, these are simply bogus. The black or blue Signo 207 is classic and performs well.
