ut33c can also measure temperature.This is the only difference.

sorry santosh, this meter can only measure voltages, current, and resistance. This meter cannot measure capacitance of a capacitor. You will need to buy another meter that can measure capacitance.

i am not an electronics expert but what i know is that, even the most expensive multimeters are not accurate when it comes to measuring micro ranges. However i have never needed to measure current in micro ranges unless you are designing a precision circuit that takes current in micro range.

This was my first multimeter so i kept looking on internet for 3-4 months & at the end came across mastech 830L and uni-t 33D.I was also confused between mastech and uni-T. But i liked the design of the uni-T and it was also compact. However both are fairly good multimeters. uni-T feels much better quality though. Finally i would prefer uni-t over mastech mas830L.

How much this multimeter life's longevity

multimeter usually don't get bad only the contact pads of the mode selector wear out and that depends on how much you rotate the mode selector.

The symbol which has out written next to it is a 50hz square wave signal. When you set the multimeter to that setting the meter probes generate a 50hz square wave signal. It is not very useful unless you have a oscilloscope. however a signal is used in designing electronics, testing and troubleshooting.
