Uni-T UT210e Unboxing and First Impressions

Ғылым және технология

This video is an unboxing and first look at the Uni-T UT210e. So far I really like this meter though it does have some minor issues. This is only after the first couple of weeks of using it and is not a full review.

    Interesting that when first switched to DC current in the 2A range it's reading just over 0.5A before you zero it. OK you have a lot of electronics near it - mine always starts off just over 0.4A which worried me - others you see on KZread start out lower - about half that. I wonder if this is significant?

    Bro plz tell if v select the dial at continuty, diode (instead on voltage mode) and plug the probes in socket then what happen??

    To my knowledge its circuity will handle that. Obviously not a recommended practice though.

    Sir for calculating watts we multiply voltage and amps... Right? Like if v hv 220 volt and when we put load on it then the voltage will be remain like 200 volts. So now whom voltage we will take for multiplying with the amps? 220 or 200?

  • @Eman2000

    @Eman2000

    You multiply it by the loaded voltage so 200.

    Eman2000 thank you Sir but some others say to me that the finest voltage(220) will be multiply with amps bcz the load put on that?? Plz explain it sir...

    Ravi Kumar your load is running on 200 volts so if you want to know how much power the load takes you need to use 200. The 220 is completely irrelevant to the calculation.

    Weird, mine not only came with AAA batteries but they were also already installed in the meter. Also, I just paid 45 bucks for this thing on Amazon and thought it was totally worth it now that I've gotten the chance to use. Then I look up on ebay today and someone is selling it for 15 bucks. But I guess it's worth it (at least a little) to get same day shipping and not wait 20 days for it come from China.

    No ordinary meter is capable of reading power supply ripple. ??? I have to adjust my scope to 10 mV per division to check psu ripple.

    If you suspect you have a faulty power supply an ordinary meter is very cable of measuring output ripple. Set it to AC volts and put it across the PS output, can very easily be upwards of 2V. Just a quick and dirty test.

    m s For calculate the exact watt and better accuracy we multiply amps with the finest providing voltage OR after loaded voltage? Bcz there is a variation and voltage get redeem after the load and it down like 225 to 215. Kindly tell me now which voltage we will take for multiplying with the watt?

    Sure thing. I get them with straight banana plugs that have retractable safety shrouds for maximum connection flexibility (works with regular and safety banana jacks). I don't remember if you mentioned this in your vid, but if you're feeling adventurous, you can change many configuration parameters (DC default instead of AC, backlight timeout, maximum count, etc.) by altering values stored in the meter's EEPROM.

    There seems to be a lot of grizzling and complaining. Perhaps it may be advantageous (before fiddling) to RTFM. For that cheap it is a good deal. If you want better functionality, put your hand in your pocket and spend more money. It is called a 'Mini clamp Meter', see? Do not expect a Rolls Royce for Mini prices!

    That meter was a great deal. It has since become my go to meter even though I have a couple that are far more expensive. All of the things that I complain about are more like minor annoyances than deal breakers. I do believe that I ended this video by saying that I like the meter.
