In 1966, #JimmieDriftwood did a new album of his old songs for #MonumentRecords. They misspelled his name on the LP as #JimmyDriftwood for some odd reason. Even though they aren't the original recordings, these are still quite enjoyable, and essential for any fan of his or folk music in general. This seriously needs a nice digitally restored release!
I appreciate the music publishers for allowing these little heard gems to stay on my channel. I'm not trying to make money here or step on anybody's toes with copyright infringement. If there's ever a problem with anything I upload, I will be more than happy to take it down. I'm a collector who has amassed close to 50,000 songs on my computer, and I like to share things that are not heard too often. I imagine the majority of what I post isn't even on CD or any other digital format.
