Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh an excellent facilitator. It is refreshing to have this quality from our public broadcaster. I might even consider getting a television again.

He pushed for all pertinent questions to be answered! Every anchor has their own style and I found it refreshing! Within a short space he was able to discern a hack of a lot and that is what matters instead of decorum that yields no answers nor accountability! I truly like his style he is a true journalist who is not there to be liked

Why is G4S still operating, why are their bank accounts still active with major banks? Selective application of principle. Who are/ is the owners of G4S, Why are they not being investigated why can't the media show us their faces and houses?

I think Bester escaped before the fire, the guards during that time must tell that where where they when the fire started what was happening, but for me despite everyone's opinion ,Thabo Bester left the cell before the fire , and he was assisted to leave the cell out

And the body didn't match Thabo Bester mother's DNA it also didn't have smoke in the lungs injures are inconsistent with a suicide?Yet they still released the body and issued a death certificate?😢

There is a channel called Agenda Network here on KZread and apparently on Facebook too that cover the stories of those who have been rehabilitated. Those individuals share the stories of corruption that happens in prison and the lifestyle. I wonder why government doesn’t reach out as part of the investigation to what happens inside. Because some of the allegations are alarming. Inmates being let out for some days by government officials to do unspeakable crimes outside is just evil

The union is to lenient with their members. One escape is one to many. All the members involved need to be incarcerated. Some of them are dismissed meaning they been excluded from the cases.

Poor service.. they are just angry their corruption is being exposed now.

The anchor made this hard to watch, he's so dismissive and focused on proving his point. The spokeperson handled this well though.

Imagine how many others are running loose in the streets ?

Where there are human beings there will be always the element of dishonesty no matter what....that one no one can deny...as humam being we have different morals and our integrity levels differs. Note made on Tuesday 18 April 2023.

No matter how many dishonesties in a system they are it is not to correct so we must correct them one by one.

Same as police ..standards dropped to accommodate people. The useless ministers and commissioner's must be fired.

I suggest DCS change from sentences plans to rehabilitation tracking system. Obviously the current system is not working for anyone including the kind of skills it attracts otherwise we will have these widespread incidents will continue increasing.

You telling us the equipment like body scanners are expensive you won't manage to get them in all the correctional centers yet you can hire a private jet for 1.4m to transport a fugitive? it doesn't make sense...!

The court is going to be full of people who are directly or indirectly linked to this crime. Be ready to get a court room as big as GALLAGHER estate to accommodate everyone.😁

You can't start an interview by being combative. Your job is to ask questions and gain truth. Manje before he can even answer already you fighting

Mr Mpofu-Walsh in any organisation the leader is responsible for operations of the organisation, correction of anomalies, training and policies and protocols. You don't just blame employees at the shopfloor and trivialise it as normal. In sensitive areas you investigate and conscioutise it. These are issues ministers taxpayers and electorates want answered and done.
