Hey Pete, can you make more instructional videos on the Boeing 767 and Boeing 757(study series). I feel like that would be great for your channel. There’s not a lot of Boeing 757 Pilots/Content creators out there, and we would really appreciate it if you taught about the distinct systems and capabilities on it.

Thanks, you too!
Unfortunately, Chicago weather is just unpredictable. I was in Chicago a week ago and I had received a notification of a Tornado Warning. Got a lot of rain when that storm hit, luckily saw no tornadoes. Great aviation content Pete, keep up the great work!!
Pilot Pete - i always look forward to your videos. I love pilot videos because I wanted to be one when I was younger. Your vids are just more laid back and chill and not so much about how you look or your body. All good, really enjoy following you

That blue sky... The best!
I am continuously amazed when I see you doing the outside aircraft. It's the law, but many people don't do it. Your professionalism and your discipline is exemplary. I'm leaving tomorrow to Poland, my mom is not well.

Haha😅 You made me laugh. Yes, you were here in Chicago. So, yes, I saw the replica of Grumman aircraft there. Nice. Yes, Well, being my former base here in Chicago I would always walk through our United crew line here in Terminal 1 in casual business style clothing but with my crew IDs hung around my neck even when going on vacation. Haha, then I would run to the Starbucks to get my coffee.😊 I never brought liquid before trying to go through security!!😅 That one Starbucks by the employee security is soo close there. Crazy!! Starbucks has money no matter what!😅😅😅

Yes, there were a few hotels free. Me and my former crew use to have free breakfast at the Sherry Frontenac in Miami. Yes, Lufthansa and British Airways would layover there as well. But the Hyatt, Marriott, Doubletree and Hilton gave us airline discounts for meals general by just show our ID. Along with the Radisson Hotels as well. And I had my hotel points memberships already before flying so, I continued to get my points with Hyatt and Hilton Hotels. For me, having flying out to Los Angeles and San Diego a lot, I always need a car to see family and friends so, I would rent a car and park particularly when staying in Los Angeles at the Hilton Hotel and get my points from park. Yes, I use to always presented my hotel membership when checking in to get my points in general from eating and the bar at many hotels that I use to layover. Yes, I said the "bar"! ☺ Smile

Finally, yes, here in Chicago we had bad weather fly past us today Monday 5/20 and yesterday Sunday. Glad you made the last flight home.😊
You are informative and engaging! Love it. ❤
Always fun to come along with you Pete. As you mentioned..sometimes diverting to your alternate is a necessary inconvenience. But safety first! At least you didn’t have to hold for an hour while that line of wx slowly marched eastward. Glad you made it back to NYC that night.

I literally just got off of a flight fron Denver, CO. That mountain air had the plane rocking so badly. A 3 hours flight with almost 2 hours of fighting the air. The pilots did a great job getting us to some smooth air for the the duration of the flight. We were on a 737-700.

Great video, Pete! Thanks for talking about the mountain waves. As a meteorologist at an ARTCC, your explanation was very interesting. I wondered how quickly the up and down motions occurred. When the opportunity presents itself, I'd be interested in more about your perspective on turbulence and icing. I work at an ARTCC with a lot of cargo flights. The joke when I first arrived was that cargo flights don't provide many PIREPs because "boxes don't complain!" 😂

Not sure if you know. But at the 10:20 mark on your vnav descent page .78/290 is in big letters already. Someone already imput that in there, which is denoted by the Econ in L5. So there is no need to imput it again.

Watching you shave got me thinking, do you know if KCM would let you through with a saftey razor or straight razor? Personally I prefer to wet shave than use electric or disposable or the cartidges.

Hi Pete! I'm curious why many 767 freighters generally don't have winglets. Don't they improve fuel economy, and are useful? Love the blogs, new fan!
@pilotpetefly
Ай бұрын
None off ours do. The reason (so I was told) was because without winglets the company could squeeze more 767s into the gates. But I wish they had them, they look cooler when they do!
