UNEXPECTED CATCH Fishing this Dangerous Island (It's PARADISE!) ⛰
Ойын-сауық
Fishing a beautiful and incredibly remote coastal island - DANGER, big waves, cliffs and unbelievable views, this trip has it all! It was quite a long walk to fish here, but well worth it. This is one of the most remote sea fishing marks I could find, and I had great fun fishing it. Lure fishing is always my favourite way to fish, and it can always throw up a few surprises. I headed out fishing for pollock, and i was also aware of the fact that other predatory fish species live here like Wrasse. We take a look at a few wrasse fishing clips from a couple of years ago, and catch a species of fish I haven't caught all year. Every time I've targeted it, I blanked. Time and time again, but it finally happened when I was least expecting it!
As always, thank you very much for watching! If you enjoyed this video, please don't forget to drop a like, and most importantly subscribe if you haven't already! I'm eager to hear what you think of the video too so please get at me in the comments below!
Hopefully i'll see you here for the next video!

great location bud but where's your life jacket
@nospoon4799

Nobody wears a life jacket whilst fishing. Some wear a floatation suit in winter. But most don't use anything like that as it can be very restrictive to wear.

Your wrong, where I rock fish everyone wears them, it's very irresponsible not to.

@tonycamplin8607
9 ай бұрын
@@adventurefishinguk Thanks for your reply. As I said where I used to fish they were quite commonly worn. Didn't mean to interfere but those rock faces looked quite dangerous to me and you can easily get knocked of them with a rogue wave. Good fishing.
@nospoon4799
9 ай бұрын
@@tonycamplin8607 This is the Irish sea. It doesn't often get big rogue swells like that. The rocks are usually easy climbing. Not usually loose. Lots of holds. Three was a guy killed at ravens point (close to here) a couple of weeks ago. That is a big flat low rock and is a dangerous one in my opinion. The current there is mad as well. You are probably right that a life jacket would have saved that guy. Years ago there was an advert for floatation suits featuring a guy at Ravens who went in at night in the middle of winter and lived due to his flotation suit.

Thanks for watching and for the advice!
Hi George, I do like following your fishing. Don't think I am a kill joy, but when you went down on the rocks and got Hoofed by a waive don't you think you should have had a life jacket on and a helmet. Sounds over the top but you are an ambasador for fishing and setting an example to others. A few months ago a man fell in the water at Trearddur Bay on Anglesey and he was found a week later in I think Porth Diana the next bay down. Just maybe if he had an Automatic life jact on with a helmet he could have been saved. when you fall in against rocks you get smashed against it with the waves if you havent got a helmet on you cou coud be knocked out, you also need a crutch strap so the the life jacket does not ride up. Just look at Life Boat personel they always have the full mashing on. I am going in a bit but I did teach water rescue in the Fire Service so I do know what I am talking about, it's just food for thought for you and all your followers. I do enjoy your clips, keep them coming but stay alive. Cheers Paul Williams.
@adventurefishinguk

Hi paul, i'll take extra care. I'm always very very careful but yes the wave hitting me was a little reminder not to get complacent! Personally I wouldn't want to wear a lifejacket fishing from the bank unless the conditions were awful (in which case i probably woudln't be out). Everyone has to be comfortable with whatever degree of risk they choose to take while fishing and i'm happy with mine!
@paulwilliams1767

Hi George, thanks for your reply. I have read some of the other comments suggesting safety equipment ( helmet life jacket) you say you have never seen any one else wearing them whilst fishing off rocks, because you are in modern terms a media star and influencer you could set an example to others to follow. You never know they might save your life one day. It's not always bad weather it could just be a freak wave what hits you. Sorry I have been going on a bit but I see it from the other side I used to teach water safety. Good luck George. Paul Williams.
