Luka is one of the greatest offensive players I've ever seen in my 40-something years of watching and playing this game... but he is equally as bad on the defensive end. That makes him a truly flawed player.

It wasn't enough, Celtics had 5 scorers Mavs had 2, nobody was beating the Celtics this season. Luka did a lot more with less, before the trade teams picked apart the paint area, that got resolved but they had no offensive arsenal. They can't create their own shots, some more additions are needed and building chemistry is important too

Serious fact: If you take away the Mavs' lob threat what do you got left when the only player who could post up on the team is the Point Guard, it is "atrocious" yet that's never mentioned. These guys need to understand one thing. The Celtics have been growing.year after year. Now they have mastered their craft...the only thing is now to keep this together. Like the the the bulls, warriors, Lakers 🤔.. pistons .. Spurs. ..no. One and done. Even the cave with LeBron. The heat even had a run. Let's go Celtics.. they still young.

He doesn't have to do all of that. He needs to get fit so he can play 2 ways. He was a disgrace to the game with regards to defending. He was blown by 58.9% of the time throughout the playoffs. That is a stat that proves he is completely incompetent of defending effectively. The fact that he has been compared to Larry Bird is an embarrassment to the world.

What white player is dominating? Which one the two that went home without a chip? And last time I checked black players make up 75 percent of the players in the NBA. If that's not dominance what do you call it. Alot of people so desperate for it not to be that way that they are over hyping any type of non black players that appear on the scene. But the reality is that no non black player in the NBA has come close to even accomplishing what some of the older white players accomplished during there time. Luka already won twice (Real and Slovenia) and he won western conference finals. Analysts put them on 11th place or worse in the beginning of season. He came to WCF with g league team (Powell as starter, now he only got some playing time in garbage time).
