In 2014 I created my KZread account "Tourist to Local" as a way to document my study abroad adventure in Chile. Over 6 years later, Tourist to Local has turned into a travel community on KZread that is focused on sharing our favorite travel memories. Along with my husband, Martín from Bitácora de Viajero, we make bilingual videos providing tips and guides to create memorable and unique vacations. Travel is attainable, and our goal is to show you how you can travel too, whether it's for a weekend or a year!

Hahahah I've so glad you can relate to me! My mom is a champion driver :) I do believe there are buses, but not public ones...just tour buses. Definitely worth looking into! Safe travels and thanks for watching!

Unlike US drivers, we learn to drive in a driving school. We therefore drive better than you who only know wide, straight roads. The mother was educated, she knows how to drive a car with a manual gearbox and I noticed that she did not drive in the left lane, but returned to the right after overtaking. Good driver! Take an example from her before criticizing.

Is it worth a visit on a day trip from Paris? Perhaps taking the train and then hiring a driver?

@@TouristtoLocal it happens, you didn't know any better so can't beat yourself up about it. Let me pick on you, 😂😂 if you ever go to Lyon, France. It is pronounced "Lee on" not lion
