This is definitely best to be played after neutral and pacifist

Your performance as Flowey here during his breakdown is just phenomenal. He is just furious that his determination was overwritten by an ungrateful brat and decides to spend his last moments spiting them by revealing his true colors. And he ends up being obliterated with his own pellets.

That castle may as well be a coffin because your already dead. DAMN YOU DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE THAT LINE SO GOOD 😭

It's also a cold way of saying how the game works: Even if Clover wins, the game will end here. The player can't win, only Clover is able to reach their conclusion, while you're stuck in that castle forever.

Symbolic fact: When Clover in a pacifist gives up his soul voluntarily, his face becomes like the face of a Clover in genocide. This symbolizes that Clover in genocide = Clover without a soul.

I don’t feel like that is right, the one in the pacifist is just his head hanging low(because of the lack of soul). In genocide it’s more of a clover not seeing the monsters as anything but guilty for the other human’s deaths and of need of judgement.

I guess Flowey just completely gave up on keeping his facade of a friendly person in the present story, so we just got used to the fact that he's aggressive and scary. In UTY, however, it feels more out of place

In Undertale Yellow, Flowey had a lot more control, so he could be much more transparent with you in endings outside of Pacifist. There's no risk to revealing his true intentions, as he maintains a level of control unlike in Undertale where the player has all of the power

When I reached this point and then realized that I don't even have to press anything and Clover does everything himself, I almost broke out in a laughter. The one when you know there is truly nothing stopping you now, when Flowery doesn't control you no more. And his reaction to Clover playing with files... Oh, it was so satisfying to see the first time. Truth be told, it's interesting how relationship between Clover and Flowey changes here. Instead of being buddies, Clover pretty much puts up with Flowey, just using him as means to deliver JUDGEMENT to monsters. And I love this Clover.

Clover really just shot 8 times from a sixshooter without reloading a single time.

I absolutely love Flowey's confusion when his Determination isn't enough anymore, him realizing he's completely helpless. Before of course, he decides to go down talking insane shit

*_INCREDIBLE WORK!_* You can really hear how begins to gradually panic as the reality of his situation slowly dawns on him, brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!

I find it funny how Flowey isn't afraid of Clover, mainly due to him having more control within the underground, but when Frisk comes along and kills everyone, he's terrified.

Yeah cause when Frisk fell down, they already had more determination than flowey, thus he doesn't have the same barging chip that he had with Clover.

He wasn't terrified of Frisk killing all the other monsters, he was terrified at their murderous intent towards HIM. It's only when they start acting weird towards HIM does he really freak out. Not only does Frisk have a huge advantage over him since he was forced to relinqish his God powers over to them, but considering how he sees them as Chara and how attached he is to them because of it, his emotional response makes sense. Clover's life was in his non existent hands for a majority of the route, and if something went wrong he could easily fix it or just kill them without worrying about them remembering. And Clover's a stranger to who he holds no emotional attachment whatsoever. He's definitely frightened by them the moment he realised that they snatched his powers (he even tries to escape before Clover loads him back), but in the end their betrayal is nothing personal. That's how I see it, at least.

I mean, what Flowey says at the end is technically wrong, because in the genocide route, you have the determination to save and load and all that. Clover totally has the power to just leave, since they now have infinite tries to kill Asgore, meaning EVENTUALLY they'll get him. With flowey out of the way, too, they have nothing to stop them! Making this one of the only fangames I know of where the geno route is the good ending.

My interpretation is that Flowey expects Asgore to absorb the other human SOULs, which would give Asgore control over the save instead of Clover

No, it's because Flowey *knows* this route is not canon. Clover canonically dies, Flowey knows this because he's an all knowing being, so he knows it doesn't even matter.

That's a really interesting take on Flowey's voice, I really like it! I assume it was inspired by Bill Cipher, correct? And either way, It still fits him alot, like, Flowey is only alive due to pure determination and the vague memory of Asriel, he's neither monster or human, he's just, an anomaly, pretty much just a more cognitive amalgamate, so it makes sense his voice seems to be, almost artifical. like he can only speak through magic ...what was my point again? Oh yeah, voice good

it did defo have some subconscious bill cipher inspiration in there lol and yea i actually totally agree about the magic/artificial voice thing - i dont imagine a flower could have _vocal cords_ so his voice being something that just inexplicably comes out of him because of magic/his infusion with determination makes sense

This is great! I love the distortion effect you added, esp. at the line “that castle may as well be a coffin”. Honestly though I always imagined the pause before 0:35 to be a little longer. Also does anyone else think the ‘fight start’ should come with a sound effect? Maybe a gun reloading or something.

I like to think that this whole rant is just Flowey's last ditch effort to scare Clover away from the Saving/Resetting power, and that his true mind on clover is what he says at the end of the neutral route.

The effects kinda distorted it but great. It's hard to make his voice And you nailed it.

This is it. A perfect voice for him

I do wonder what he'd say if you went the whole game without dying, lol

In my opinion: Shayy does do some things really well that rival this. Hell, the laughter he does for flowey at the beginning is better the this. But it’s inconsistent and it isn’t good throughout unlike this. Sometimes he even drops the ball and does worse (Example: the “You hear that?! YOU’RE DEAD!” Line) so I’d say this video is better.
