Wait w h a t ? I'm on my first playthrough of undertale, stuck on asgore and my friend is forcing me to do a pacifist run as my first playthrough so I am... he told me in genocide I will fight sans and that he's difficult, but I thought this video was impossible! You mean the sans fight is harder than this?!? Edit: I did a genocide run, fought sans, can confirm this video is a walk in the park compared to. Somehow only took me about 30 attempts, but I had a REALLY bad time... sheesh

@@Jason-MOT when he was like "on days like this, kids like you..." And then he rained hell instead of talking, caught me super off-guard. Instantly went from 92 hp to 1 hp and crying of fear. I genuinely thought after my first few attempts that it's not possible to survive his first attack without getting hit, and when I find out someone did the entire fight without getting hit I was ready to shove my head into my desk and cry. Luckily his first attack isn't that bad anymore but j e e z I was not prepared that first time around

I can imagine Undyne in heaven yelling "Get your OWN sound effect!"

Can... can we just appreciate how well made this was for it’s time?

I actually watched this video like 4 years ago, with absolutely no knowledge of what Undertale even was, and so when I saw a genocide playthrough a few months ago, and Sans came up on the battle screen, but the normal fight ensued, I was confused as to why it was different. Now I know, having finally found this video again.

despite being a completely ridiculous boss, the attacks you thought up were actually pretty legit. really hard to dodge, but dodgeable, as well as unique (granted, lasers like that don't really fit, but the concepts were there). well done.

+vol Actually, if you read the theory of the determination+sans... using an attack of that color is actually pretty legit.

For if this was canon: The dog would only appear if you actually solved the puzzle to see the artifact. Otherwise Sans kills you here and resets your save. A brutal punishment for a potential hard-mode genocide run.

+JayJay Golden Like in Genocide; with how you had needed to Fight him to advance in the battle, Pleading would yield the same effect. If you don't get the artifact perhaps you'd rather have to wait out Sans, because he could barely hold off exhaustion in his regular form, so I doubt he'd be able to stay in in Ultra Sans for very long.

+CommanderAuk I think instead the Dog sleeps next to the soul causing Sans to accidentally kill him as he turns back to normal to mourn over him "even though he was annoying, he was only being a dog", you obtain the Legendary Artifact. He notices and turns back to Ultra Sans making the true battle begin.

+Jonathan Ellis Awesome! I know that Disbelief Papyrus sprites already exist. They're static images, but Papyrus doesn't move during his first fight anyways. Other than that, he pretty much uses bones to attack like Sans. Unless you want to put some extra crazy spin on it yourself hahah.

Why is the Ultra Sans music is a banger?! It’s so good!!!

TL;DR: Check out the other animation I made! 12/16 Reflection: I think its time to look back on this animation and analyse how much I've improved. I've had both praise and criticism for this particular animation of mine. I'd like people to keep in mind that this was my first crack at this sort of animation, and took me only 3 weeks, compared to the 3-5 months they now tend to take me. But looking back, this animation is only 'ehh, not that good'. I can easily see why people wouldn't like it. The timings are way off, there's spelling mistakes, wrong animation type, unsatisfying ending, bad pacing, too easy-looking etc etc. I've taken it all on board and strive to improve all of these aspects. My more recent animations should show this improvement, and I continue to plan to make animations, focusing on accuracy. Be it 2d or 3d (I'm not all too good at characters, but environments I love to make) I'd love to hear of some of the ideas that people might want me to make in the future.

+Jenna Marie I respect this in every sense of the word! It must've taken a long time to get this just right. For people who make KZread content or music or the like, I'll only give constructive criticism, or at the very most politely point out flaws in the video. For instance... "This boss is DAMN AMAZING! Although, there are a few things better that I would've liked to see. I thought the way the boss ended was very anti-climactic, and the battle felt a little too short to be something so epic as this. However, the attack patterns and the movements of the box in the beginning and all the cool stuff with the bones and lazers and stuff was so cool! I would love to see someone make a fan mod of the game to include this boss. One flaw that needs to be fixed though is the error with the G.Burger and the Instant Noodles that the player consumes. Other than that, everything in this video was amazing! Keep up the great work!" Something like that is what I would say. But a lot of other people would be like "this sux" or "this rules". I don't know, I'm rambling... lol
