I'm disappointed that they made Toriel so much less impressive than Asgore's fight. Cause apparently she's supposed to be nearly as strong as him but we never saw any indication to that :-/

pkphantom it's as intimidating to new players because most have never played a bullet hell game or saw her fight. If I recall correctly they don't show her fight in trailers except one frame where she's just talking. Once you're experienced it's not that hard and you don't expect Asgore to use almost every previous boss rule.

In the beginning and the pacifist ending we see, she is even stronger than Asgore, firing him directly offscreen. Also she instantly STOPS an attack pattern (the hands) if you touch the hands.
