It's been speculated that Megalovania is really Chara's theme (conceptually), given that Megalovania is one letter away from Megalomania, which totally applies to Chara, whereas the Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans fits Sans better

+Sans The Last Boss Going full honest here. When i went Genocide i only get a neutral end where she gets mad at you because you kill random monsters and Toriel dismantel the Royal Guard. I was so angry that i decide i will make a bloodshed until i meet her again. And then this happen. And she regain all my respect.

Think about this When Undyne is in her “true hero state”, she’s not going back. She is technically already dead. Which means even if she wins, she’ll still fall and die. And classic Undyne sees it as a chance to abuse even her own body to become the strongest she’s ever been

Always loved this fight. Intense but still fair. The music grabs the important aspect of the fight, the action filled clashes between you and Undyne and the slower, sader parts which reflect your actions, what you done and will do to fulfill that run.

Through the determination and the pain we carry on.

Only a true hero among monsters would be able to summon the determination needed to stop the biggest threat the Underground has ever seen. Not only for monsters. But for humans too. For everyone. Only a true hero would go past the physical boundaries of their own body. In the name of justice and the fate of the world itself.

The real Problem is: you need to find all the enemys in the area and kill em, Not the fiew appearing in your way. That requires farming and Double checking and sometimes Even Play the whole Zone again because you Missed someone. Oh, and the character deaths are pretty sad too, especially when you fuck it up and need to kill undyne over and over again wich still stands up and trys to attack you, becoming weaker and weaker

When I did a genocide run I had one rule. If Undyne kills me in the first attempt. I would end the game and delete all evidence that I had ever attempted a Genocide run. I am have never been happier to get my ass whooped by a boss before. After all who doesn't love a happy ending where the hero beats the villain?

it's been one hell of a while ever since i was in my undertale phase, and now that im currently in my touhou phase, I came back for nostalgia, and seeing that fanart in the beginning made me smile.

This vid perfectly matches undyne's personality along with the song as well. I mean the intro before the actual song shows her fun loving side whil the actual mix shows her serious, somber and dangerous side while mixing in her determination to save the world from chara/frisk and throws in a song that sounds like it might be from an anime as well as imbodies her personality as i said before. Wow, after typing this i feel like i am answering a question in school

That actually would be impossible. Because with Undyne, you would have to deal with being in one place and blocking for a phase, whilst with Sans you need to be constantly moving in order to survive. Making it the impossible duo-fight.

+Jacob Goldsberry well, if they enabled WASD keys, you would have to dodge projectiles with arrow key whilst dogde spears using WASD. the spears would stay vertical and horizontal no matter where you go

But that leaves still leaves Sans powers which require you to move in order to dodge them. They are unblockable.

+Zuites 127 Dual mix = Mashup I don't know why people call it a dual mix. Mashup is a more universal term.

Slazors A mashup can be mix of two completely different songs while a dual mix combines two versions of the same song. The word "dual mix" isn't even a real genre or musical term though.

I think the hearts are just a recurring theme in character design. a lot of characters have them on their chest, arms, or stomach, namely mettaton. some have upside down hearts too, which is a tad more obscure.

+HighCaliber350 It's a vital concept and MacGuffin for the game. Hearts represent the souls of characters. Monster souls are white and have the point facing upward, while human souls look like regular hearts, but can be different colors depending on what special characteristic the humans who carried them had.

This was actually one of my favorite fights from sans’ (I mean it’s just them two) but both of the fights are amazing and constantly reminding you that YOU made this choice, YOU choose the hard way. Toby is just a genius

*And after 5 years, is still one of my favorite videogame soundtracks.
