I appreciate Dr. Kaku's open mind on this topic unlike many academics. The late Dr. Allen Hynek started researching UFOs with a great deal of skepticism. He was a professional astronomer with a PHD in astrophysics. After over two decades investigating 1000s of reports, he also became open minded to the possibility that Earth may have been visited by some type of alien technology.

  • @BlueRice

there scientist that are smart, then there is super smart people like in astrophysics that are for the most part open minded. they dont denied it but rather want proof of it. just like god. they dont deny or claim its real. if you look at our solar system, it has many planets. there are billions of stars in our solar galaxy. each star have at lease on planet or more that may have the same conditon similar to our planet that may have life. if you go beyond of our galaxy, there are billions of galaxy in the universe that contains billions of other star system and planets. the universe is so big that the chance of life out there is pretty high. i cant stop thinking about this thought for over 10 years. what if the other aliens out there just waiting for us to get to another level of space travel then they would finally reveal to us? what if they dont have the tech to travel yet either since space is too big. what if the UFO is there drone just to monitor human to see what level of tech we are currently at? human in nature is hostile. they monitor human in case if we ever become too advance to pose a threat to their civilization

@@tremorlok6659 lol. that doesn't stop other "pop" scientists like Neil Degrasse from being too afraid of personal and professional ridicule to consider the possibilty. Regardless, any scientist worth his salt is going to say what Kaku said, "show us the evidence" and pointing out that the video evidence we have so far remains inexplicable and does defy physics with regards to the technology we have available to us. He didn't say he believed they were aliens, he just wouldn't rule it out based on the evidence. And with time travel he cited Stephen Hawking, the most respected theoretical physicist since Einstein to explain how it was possible.

This is in stark contrast to another famous physics professor who also appears frequently in interviews (NDT, there I named him). I used to admire him, but when he was asked about UAPs, he was extremely condescending and dismissive, as if all his research funding was put in danger by his mere proximity to the topic. There’s enough evidence of this phenomenon now, notably from US military hardware, for this to be discussed openly and respectfully. Cheers.

People also seem to assume these phenomena are coming from the same source. Some might be from a neighbouring galaxy, some might be time time travellers, others might be from higher or lower dimensions, or other parallel realities, some may be unknown phenomena arising from our own collective unconscious as a sort of collective hallucination, some may be some form of life that has always been here, a part of our ecosystem, but is just now choosing to reveal itself. Perhaps all of the above and more... It's all up for grabs at this point.

Now, factoring in the vastness of the universe and the trillions of stars and a billion trillion planets out there, how could there not be another species far more advanced than us? There's also the size, gravity and mass. For example crabs work better in their actual form because they are smaller but if they or insects would be as big as humans, they'd die on the spot and the same would apply to us, if we get to the size of a crab or insect, we'd instantly die. So yeah i think there is a universal shape depending on size just because the law of physics wills it.

There are a lot of us who have seen craft that sit making no noise and one travel about 25-30 mph down a creek silently. Was black and my wife and kids all saw it as it passed over a small bridge we were crossing. Happened in the 1990’s and the kids still remember the incident. Looked like a 16-20 foot upside down boat in general shape. We were in the middle of nowhere Arkansas when it happened. While checking my garden at Canyon Lake TX. I looked up to see when the only small cloud in the sky might cover the sun for some shade. Just next to the cloud was a large black silent triangular craft. It was probably 3-5 thousand feet up above the high hill the house was built on overlooking the clear blue lake. I took off to find my phone to take a photo but when I returned outside it was gone. The triangle was shorter on one side and had rounded points and was like a light battleship grey color. I could make out circles on the bottom nearer to the points and 3 half tanks poking out on one side a 2 on the other. I have always said that I hope they are ours but really doubt we had the technology at the time. I’m currently recovering from a double bypass operation and thought I should record this somewhere. My background is in USAF reserves, Federal law enforcement and 2 Local towns. I never saw anything while on duty, over almost 30 years. I might mention that upon graduation for the USAF Security Police Academy at Lackland Air Force Base in 1975. One instructor asked now that we were sworn in, was there anything that we wanted to know about. One guy asked if it was true that we had a UFO and he replied that he had not, but his best friend told him he had guarded a hanger that contained one and he had seen it from his post at the door. The instructor said this friend had never lied to him or made stuff up ever before so he believed him. This is the kind of 2 hand info that we keep hearing about and really doesn’t prove anything. I saw what I saw and it’s firsthand…My biggest takeaway was that neither craft made any sound at all…..

I thought that suggestion was a lot shrewder than most people acknowledge. Why should anyone wish to steal something from an alien space craft? Doesn't that depend on why one is on board such a craft in the first place? If I were abducted and had a chance to come away with some evidence that I'd been in that situation, I'd grab it with both hands. Never mind if they'd allow it or not. I wouldn't be entitled to do so?

@@loserwinner2654 It does seem very astute and logical at it's face... until that is one has really become familiar, in depth, with first person accounts by people who describe these experiences- as many cases as possible. Just as in many other areas of life it's so easy for a person who has not had a particular experience to say, "Well, if I were in situation X, I would just do YZ... easy peasy." And it does sound easy and obvious if one isn't fully informed regarding the aspects of what an experience is like for those who have encountered such a situation themselves. This is true not only for abduction/experiencer phenomenon, but for things like being the victim of a crime or some other kind of adversity. It's a well documented cognitive bias that's been researched extensively by social psychologists. I appreciate Dr. Kaku's work and his sense of humor overall. But on this point it appears that he could be much better informed and if he were he I'm sure would be more sensitive and less flip in his comments.
