You can legally own guns in your own home.However,if the cops/Feds are serving a search warrant and have knowledge you own or likely own firearms, they can use such information as justification to showup with overwhelming numbers of SWAT teams in armored vehicles. The primary focus of the search warrant seemed to be recovery of iilegal narcotics,and evidence of human trafficking and sexual explotation. That evidence could be destroyed if the cops/Feds are involved in an armed standoff with a property owner questioning the validity of the search warrant. If the cops/Feds can articulate a reasonable possibility of facing armed resistence, or any delay that could allow destruction of evidence, they can justify a show of force.

The Feds are using the fact they found guns as vindication for their serving a search warrant using armored vehicles and agents in full tactical gear. When getting the search warrant looking for evidence of human and illegal narcotics trafficking,the Feds must have given the judge information that large numbers of firearms were kept on the property. That in itself is not a crime. However, it does present a hazzard to agents executing a search warrant for evidence of other felony crimes which is justification for the Feds to put on a show of force to head off any violent resistence.
