1 major 2, 3 minor 4, 5 major 6,7 minor They also call it the Nashville system. Awesome tutorial Smooth. I've been at church and got lost when folks were throwing those numbers out. Lol

I'm an old school funk musician, who has been out of the active scene since 1983. I'm afraid that when I've jammed with the younger musicians, when they've used this number system, I thought that they had lost their minds, and were trying to feed me BS, because they didn't really know what a A min 9th was😂😂😂. All the time it was me who's musical knowledge was simply stale as last years ham sandwich😂. So I feel truly privileged to have stumbled across your podcast, because even at the age of 65, I still love playing my guitar, and still have a mind to learn new things. So thank you very much for this time you're spending to teach these valuable lesson, and God bless your work, and everything else you do in life. And bless your wife and kids too. Peace bruh.

Man I appreciate this so much. I played in bands thru the 90’s. I knew how to play but I didn’t understand the instrument or music. Ffw now with wife kids hadn’t played seriously for 15yrs the past cpl months I’ve decided to completely relearn the guitar. Your vids have been very helpful.

I bn working alot lately and my motivation to pick up the guitar was non-existent today, until i saw this video. I mean, the articulation used throughout each minute is digestable and easy to process. And thus, I just signed up to Kerry's Kamp, excited. One hour into Kerry's Kamp, and I am confident that I made the best choice to boost my knowledge and skills into the right direction. I'm surprised by how well organised and comprehensive your Kamp is. Thank you for persevering and inspiring so many guitarists and novice players worldwide.

Man Kerry, I joined your kamp a few weeks ago it is really "Awesome". All I did was look at about thirty videos before I even picked up my guitar and finally it all made sense to me. I was so caught up in the strings and frets and it never made any sense to me and now with this number system you teach us in the kamp, I finally got it. This was the best investment I ever got myself as far as my music is concerned. Your system not only gave my structure for the guitar, but for the keys and bass as well. I'm going to be a better bass player using chords more often in my music. I am into praise and worship for God with the R&B feel, this is what I asked God for. I appreciate you so much bro, thanks again.

You put a lot of work into this class and I'm with it and don't mind supporting you monetarily. Many thanks! I learned basically on my own to play by ear. I had a few lessons that got me started initially but I've really been going at it without fundamental structure. I see that you give the proper building blocks to provide that solid structure. Many Thanks, Rob Hewz.
