The incense was burnt upon the alter of incense, before the veil. And the blood was sprinkled upon the people with the wild shrub Hyssop that sprang from the walls of Jerusalem. It grew at the lowest parts of old walls and is symbolic of lowliness and humility. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Awesome thank you! The walls are a symbol of God's people filled with the truth and the hyssop that sprang up from the wall is a symbol of the Son of God, meek and humble who sprang up, a tender plant among His people. The OLD walls emphasize the OLD or ancient path, the truth given from the beginning, God's eternal Law. Now i understand much better why Yeshua was offered sour wine on a sponge attached to a bunch of hyssop. God bless, shalom.

harry camper With no temple, altar, high priest or sacrifices, how has the Jew been able to atone for sins for the last 2000 years? God stopped accepting animal sacrifices 40 years before He destroyed the temple 2000 years ago, ask any rabbi. Read Isaiah 53.

The use of hyssop was not connected with the sprinkling of blood on the ark. The burned ashes of the red heifer were added to water, then a branch of hyssop, cedar, and a scarlet ribbon were combined and used to sprinkle the water wish ashes onto a person. This was to "purify" anyone who had become ritually unclean. This is what the verse is in Psalm 51 is referring to. See Numbers 19:1-22. I do hope to eventually do a video on the hyssop. Messages of Christ don’t forget that the hyssop sprang from beneath the walls. It’s the lowliest of all shrubs and symbolises strength in humility. It’s most common and Unregarded plant 🌱 and brings to mind Paul’s 5 start generals. Not many of you called are might but God has chosen the foolish things of the world, the base things, the weak things etc. I love how there is always a spiritual counterpart to the natural things God uses.

The wine offered to Jesus was on a hyssop branch, the same plant used in the original Passover on the doorposts of the Israelites. Jesus’s refusal to drink the wine offered on the hyssop branch shows His refusal to be passed over. He tastes it and then refuses to drink it (Mt 27:34; 26:29). Note the cross here, made of wood with vertical and horizontal pieces which symbolize the doors of the houses of the Israelites. And Jesus's own words: "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved" (John 10:9)

I love the description of the Tabernacle and all the parts and materials and what they mean in the Spirit realm for us today. Blows me away.

You connect the Old and New Testaments as they were meant to be connected. Messages of Christ are full of appropriate meaning that enlarges my understanding of the sacred. The Savion’s essential role increases in relevance and brings me joy with each message.

The Sin-Bearing Servant 13. The LORD says, *My servant will succeed in his task; he will be highly honored. 14. Many people were shocked when they saw him; he was so disfigured that he hardly looked human. 15. But now many nations will marvel at him, and kings will be speechless with amazement. They will see and understand something they had never known.* 1. The people reply, *Who would have believed what we now report? Who could have seen the LORD's hand in this? 2. It was the will of the LORD that his servant grow like a plant taking root in dry ground. He had no dignity or beauty to make us take notice of him. There was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him. 3. We despised him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at him--- we ignored him as if he were nothing. 4. *But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne. Like a lamb about to be slaughtered, like a sheep about to be sheared, he never said a word. 8. He was arrested and sentenced and led off to die, and no one cared about his fate. He was put to death for the sins of our people. 9. He was placed in a grave with those who are evil, he was buried with the rich, even though he had never committed a crime or ever told a lie.* 10. The LORD says, *It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness. And so he will see his descendants; he will live a long life, and through him my purpose will succeed. 11. After a life of suffering, he will again have joy; he will know that he did not suffer in vain. My devoted servant, with whom I am pleased, will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them. 12. And so I will give him a place of honor, a place among the great and powerful. He willingly gave his life and shared the fate of evil men. He took the place of many sinners and prayed that they might be forgiven.* (Isaiah 52-23)

Thank you for explaining these special days and how it is fulfulled in Christ! I wanted to add something about the end part of this video, where you said "we can now daily come to Him for our sins and guilt." I wanted to share that the sacrifice of Christ was the only sacrifice powerful enough to eradicate our sins and guilty conscience forever. It is beautifully written in Hebrew 10, especially verses: 2, 3, 10, 12, 14, 17, 18, 22 (evil conscience: guilty conscience).
