Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is a video to show how a solid surface countertop is made. This is not ment to be a how to video as I do not go in to great detail.

Thanks for the video! If you still have that work table, screw some cheap triangular plywood gussets into the legs so it won't wobble on you - not that I care, but some of that elbow grease is transferring into table wobble rather than sanding :)

Hello Festool makes great tools but they are pricey. The reason I use festool sanders, saw and dust extractor is they are the best for onsite work! No dust in a customers house = happy customers! In the shop I like the feel of porter cable routers plus there cheaper. Because there cheaper I can have more of them, Because I can have more of them I can keep all the bits in a router ready to go. Nice time saver. Off the top of my head I would say I have 15+ routers. Thanks for the question!

Typically about how long does that 3/4" double fluted bit last on cutting before it has to be replaced???? Just getting into a very large corian project and looking for the best ways to mass produce clean, even cuts other than a table saw or cnc. Was trying to find something on the lines of a 1/4" diameter, 1/2" Shank Carbide straight or spiral cut bit for a plunge router. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello I like to do 2 1/4 build up it is a strong edge. If I didnt have the extra material I would try to get a 1" min edge. I usualy dont save the extra anyways unless its a big piece. The minute it takes to put a few glue blocks on the straight pieces does save a few minutes lining up the edge. I never seen a grinder used, make a video of that one for me. What do use use for your white sub deck? Thanks Bill

No not a big deal you can put 15/16 mdf behind it. Making the build up 2 1/8 saves that extra step and adds alittle more strength. The down side is you still need to notch out the build up for a dishwasher so you can have mdf to screw in to. thanks
