I'd like to take the opportunity today to mention Fr. Colm O'Mahony, the wonderful prior of the Augustinian Church in Drogheda, Ireland. He took on at the start of the year to create a Garden for Reflection in the Augustinian Church. It is a garden wherein everyone is welcome to come and sit and take time out of their busy days. It is in the middle of our town and will be open to all. Not just Catholics. I find it to be a great example of Pope Francis' call to enable the local community to interact with nature and to sit in the quiet and build a relationship with it.

Love your videos! Very well explained and concise. I am forming a new Laudato Si Latino community group in Iowa City! We want to form leaders with love for nature. Thank you so much for sharing and prepare all this video series.

True, beauty and an appreciation of creation are often lacking in areas where the poor live and this would inhance life if we create beauty for all to recognize the presence of our Creator around us and the interconnection among us.

This is a description of Social Ecology put forward by the late philosopher Murray Bookchin. I highly recommend a read of The Ecology of Freedom.
