One of the things that has drastically changed over the 20 plus years that I've been doing this is the number of people that travel to hunt. An overlooked risk with this is exposure to infectious diseases that you may not have in your home area. Where this becomes an issue is if your dog were to get sick, sometimes weeks and months later, if your veterinarian isn't made aware of your travels the diseases may not even be on their radar.
