"Understanding Complexity" by Dr. Terry Hamlin
Complexity confuses, complexity costs, and complexity kills - but new collaborations are leading to breakthroughs in treatment. In her talk at Google headquarters in Manhattan, Dr. Terry Hamlin, Associate Executive Director of The Center for Discovery, presents “Understanding Complexity: Insights from Unlikely Sources.” Through the lens of Autism, a highly complex, multi-factorial, multi-system condition, Dr. Hamlin highlights the problems we are facing in healthcare as the number of people diagnosed with complex conditions rises. Dr. Hamlin provides key insights and solutions for understanding and treating complexity using Actionable Intelligence, the new AI for healthcare.
