The MACSima™ Platform takes high-plex spatial protein profiling to a new level. Based on fluorescence microscopy, it enables staining of over 200 markers on a single sample in one run. The MACSima Platform utilizes MICS (MACSima Imaging Cyclic Staining) technology, employing iterative staining cycles with primary, fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies to capture microscopy data of hundreds of markers without compromising the sample. The process comprises three steps, all performed fully automated by the MACSima System. Initially, the sample is stained with multiple fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies. In the subsequent step, an image is captured using the widefield microscope, and to conclude the cycle, the fluorescence signal is erased. This cycle is automatically repeated as many times as necessary, enabling the user to label an unlimited number of markers. The resulting stack of images provides an unprecedented insight into any kind of fixed sample. Your sample is full of information - just waiting to be unlocked.
