The infamous serial killer "Zodiac" choose his name after looking at an ad of zodiac watches on a newspaper

When I was growing up in the 1970s, my dad wore a 1961-era Zodiac Aerospace GMT every single day. My uncle bought it for him from the PX when he was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. I picked up a vintage 1964-65 era Aerospace to remember my dad by.

I love my Zodiac, probably my favorite watch in my collection, unfortunately its also the only watch in my collection ive had multiple issues with. I’m on my second replacement and having movement/crown issues again. Very sad, they need to fix their QC because they have a ton of potential.

Squale and zodiac are my two favourite brands for divers and they are extremely underrated

You are correct, Fossil now owns Zodiac and they have issues with QC, at least in my experience and from the reviews ive read online. Mine is currently out for repairs. Great looking watches with a ton of heritage but they need to do better.

@@udulasachinthana-tm7du yep, thats 1 of the 3 issues im having with mine now. The STP movements they use suck. Its such a shame, i love the look of the watch but its the only watch i own that is plagued with issues.

Tissot, Citizen and Rotary. My 3 favourite underrated brands.

Zodiac isn't some failed fresh upstart. Or an underrated watch brand. They are however, yet another in a long line of classic/vintage watch company names gobbled up just to churn out lesser quality re-issues of their former catalogs.

Yes, of course. They have an incredible heritage. Underrated, as in not as often spoken about.

Fossil Group and they use STP movements which are owned by Fossil

Another watch brand that failed from the start to gain mass appeal because of its name. Ball, Christopher ward (they did change the logo), and others.
