I spent eighteen years of my life doing this. I reckon I’ve installed over two million metres of varying cables sizes on oil refineries, power stations, chemical works, etc. A lot by hand and a lot with a winch.

1.5 km pulling done in a day (500m × 3) Cable size- 1200 sq. MM

If you can win any contract and financially strong u can easily start. U just need to arrange T&P in which puller m/c is expensive and arrange some skilled technician.

Start off small as a company that provide skilled labour, tools and equipments. Start laying LT main/submain cables and its termination works. In time, can progress up to HT cables. Winch motors, crimping tools, rollers and other misc items. I've seen from a 5men team involved to a SME and even MNC company. Expanding your range of M&E services, courses etc also helps your growth of company.
